he did have the fastest hands around "currently" at one point. But i think hes slowed down a trike, and anyway is too cautious to let to it go now. No he wasn't as fast with combinations as Taylor, and esp Camacho at Super feather or prime Leonard, H.Davis, welterweight R.Robinson Mayweather Jr. At Jr.Light in other words theirs have been plenty of fighters just as fast, if not faster, but did it succesfully against far better competition.
No, he throws fast combos and arm flurries but I see no reason to rank him above combination punchers like Roy Jones Jr, Hector Camacho Sr, Sugar Ray Leonard, etc... Roy and Hector were the fastest two IMO, they could throw extremely fast single shots or combinations, not just flurries but combos with leverage behind them.
