This content is protected How does this compare with Camacho or Meldrick Taylor`s combo`s back in the day?
he did have the fastest hands around "currently" at one point. But i think hes slowed down a trike, and anyway is too cautious to let to it go now. Hes become quite linear and has lost the excitement in his safety first mode. On the plus side, he will wont lose as often now by ko, just get more decisions.
No he wasn't as fast with combinations as Taylor, and esp Camacho at Super feather or prime Leonard, H.Davis, welterweight R.Robinson Mayweather Jr. At Jr.Light in other words theirs have been plenty of fighters just as fast, if not faster, but did it succesfully against far better competition.
No, he throws fast combos and arm flurries but I see no reason to rank him above combination punchers like Roy Jones Jr, Hector Camacho Sr, Sugar Ray Leonard, etc... Roy and Hector were the fastest two IMO, they could throw extremely fast single shots or combinations, not just flurries but combos with leverage behind them. At the end he was trying to hold it out stiff to keep Khan out of range but Amir had a longer reach and could hit him anyway.
If by fastest combos, you actually mean smallest boxer’s ***** ever captured on a webcam and publicly broadcasted, then the answer is yes.
