Do you think any boxers use insulin to gain an advantage?

    Insulin is not a substance you can ban people for because it's naturally occurring in the body. Produced by the pancreas.

    I could see the value in using insulin. Insulin is the most anabolic hormone, it forces energy into the cells. Bodybuilders use it to gain muscle. I wonder do any boxers do the same.

    My grandma used to use it for her diabetes and she had a hell of a right hand!

    I think only the most stupid and desperate boxers would use insulin to gain an advantage.
    It's almost a guaranteed way to get diabetes. So, to ruin your life for what? For money?

    True story about my grandma,

    she used to have huge hands!! Strangely enough Blizzys mama would always come over on sunday after church to visit with granny in the screaming room.

    Insulin no but other steroids and EPO yes. Use of insulin as PED is very dangerous and it is so easy to use other PEDs without getting caught in professional boxing.

    Once a bodybuilder told me about "insulin loading". Too much of a chance of it backfiring. I halfway think that's what happened in one fight that resulted in a shocking upset during a championship fight. After the fight the loser's blood sugar was screwed up.

    I also have seen a top fighter with HGH gut or at least an image of the fighter with HGH gut. That seems like it would be a big disadvantage when receiving a body blow.

    It's nice
    when cheaters have she it backfire on them.
