I know a lot of sports can be, but ultimately in team sports the best usually end up having to play each other in leagues/competitions. It doesn't seem to happen often, or quick enough, in boxing. Too much politics. Agree?
Word. For such a macho sport, there sure are a lot of divas who want their own personal rules, ref, weight, gloves and probably judges too if they could. It's a shame.
Boxing is the least frustrating sport. In team sports you can hide like a ***** in a niche or outside position. In boxing unless you are the man, you have no career, you are getting knocked out and you are retiring. That is why boxing is the number one sport in the world and I am not at all frustrated by the corrupt cunnts who are letting fighers avoid the best competition.
The most unimportant position in NFL, NBA, MLB or European soccer is a "passenger2...but they still win with the rest of the players the same value medal. The left back in Real Madrid can be a useless, but he has Christian Ronaldo to carry them to the title by his goals and attacking prowess. In boxing unless you have no weaknesses you are losing fights, unless you have power you are not becoming a World champion, unless you have a defence you are not going to avoid defeat.
Fighters ducking each other, catch weights and boxing is in bad shape. Fans have changed they seem to support this behaviour.
