No, it's pretty clear to me that team GGG want Clenelo to be "nattie" for longer than September and I suspect they want to see him in with a live opponent while he is supposedly non-assisted to assess his strengths/weaknesses as well.

And they are wise to do this.

 

Im not sure if I believe him or not, but put him in the ring with a top 5 opponent and we'll find out if he has or not.

I totally agree with your sentiment. But you know how these promoters are. They know if either fighter gets beaten it is going to tank the demand on a rematch. They both want the money. It is just a question of how greedy Clenelo is going to be. He lost the first fight but he and GBP think they have the world by the balls.

 

At the latest. if it doesn't happen by then its a wrap.
