He hit Cotto with his best shots and they didn't even drop him so Gg takes a shot as good as Cotto does.

He hit Chavez with more power punches than he hit Golovkin. He wholloped Jr around the ring all night. Interestingly enough he landed 145 PP on Jr and 114 on GGG. Only a difference of 31

He isn't a big puncher, he's a decent power puncher, especially at 160.

So the world overrated Canelo's power. Cool. What about GGG's power? I don't think it's apparent when he faces B level fighters, especially against the smaller Canelo.

If he didn't hit hard GGG would of walked right through him like he did to Brook. But GGG fought safe and tride to get Canelo using traps and feints .

If you box or know the Arts kickboxing kung fu and you spared with a small fighter if he hits you, you are like he couldn't hurt me if i let him hit me flush with full power.

Then you box a guy bigger or your weight and size , you are like dam he hits hard, I better be careful I might get caught with something.

Difference being that Jr was in survival mode all night and Cotto was trying to stay away from Canelo's power shots throughout the fight, whereas GGG met those punches head-on.

He's got a similar sort of power to Jean Pascal or Joseph Parker, very explosive and looks like he hits like a ton of bricks, but fighters still survive it. He gets people's respect, meaning that he hits hard enough for them to worry that the next shot he lands might be the last.

I think Canelo can dig, Golovkin has a very solid chin, actually I think GG's chin is very underrated.

It's hardly underrated. The opposite, more likely.

Khan lasted over 5 rounds vs Canelo which is a pretty long ass time considering he went up in weight. He lasted 20x longer with Canelo than he did vs Prescott lmao.

Myth. His KO % is lowish at 60ish %. It’s the biggest myth.

Lovemore N'Dou, the ancient 140 pounder, fought Canelo at 154, and went the distance. Angulo was not KO'd either, the ref stopped the fight when Angulo wasn't even hurt. Baldomir was likely paid to take a dive. No way in hell does someone wearing Winning Gloves KO Balderthal.

GGG was there to be hit coming straight, Cotto is a better boxer than GGG. Totally agreed with GGG steel chin also he took some serious body shoots too the guy is like a Terminator just coming on you.

Fighting real chinny, shopworn to iron chinned fighters from Khan to GGG it's harder to gauge how hard he truly hits. To add to that, he seems content just as long as he's winning, he doesn't always seem to be looking for the ko. GGG is not your run of the mill 160lber. Once Canelo faces a Lemieux, BJS, or Jacobs we'll truly know. He did bang up GGG more than most fighters have.

Decent power but nothing special, Canelo is very explosive and can throw nice combination which makes his power look more than it is.

I guess if you're going to hate, might as well go all the way.
