Well according to Canelo and his team they wobbled Golovkin a few times....personally I never saw it as it never happened....but, you know....
Has Eubank jr ever been in with a fighter who can punch? AA wasn't a big puncher at 168 and was 63 by the time he fought CEJ.
Lemieux was stopped by Rubio and has a shaky chin not to mention his style is tailor made for Canelo so I can see a late conner or ref stoppage, Stevens?? Lol of course the rest are going to be tough but don't forget Jacobs was down against a feather fist fighter
El Pollo had knockout power against Khan. LOL! Did you see the look on his face when he landed his best punch on Golovkin and Golovkin did not even blink? Go back and watch it, it's funny..................Golovkin has power in his jab, which made El Pollo run like hell, but El Pollo knew that Oscar owned the judges.................
He had pretty good but not great power at 154/155, and average power at 160. If he stays at 160 and doesn't keep messing around with his weight then I expect his power will improve slightly. Jacobs - yes but doubt he would land cleanly and often enough. Lemieux - yes Saunders - no Stevens - yes
Canelo was barely making 154 himself at the time of the N'Dou fight, so really it was 2 brand new jr middleweights. There was no expectation of a KO for Canelo. Again the Mosley fight is the only sorta critique fight when it comes to Canelo's power, every other fight mentioned was too competitive for a KO to be expected. Its not like KO punchers sometimes fail to finish opponents they should. By all respectable measures Maidana absolutely was embarrassed for not KOing a old, fat, far out of his prime Morales...heck he almost lost the fight. Yet no one denies Marcos had KO power, just wasn't his night
