Do you think Cintron really leaped out of the ring against Williams?

No he didn't jump out of the ring on purpose and it's ******ed to suggest so.

Kermit consciously decided to move with his body's momentum which resulted in him thrusting himself out of the ring.

He said to me "I know how ****ed up it looked, but I didn't do that **** on purpose."

He also said "C'mon bro, I know Paul is your boy, but I think I was winning the fight." I replied "It was definitely closer than 40-36, but I didn't think you were winning. I had it a draw up to that point." He said "Yeah that sounds fair."

He was cool as ****. He seems like the class clown type.

    I didn't ask him that...

But I'm sure it played in his mind while he was down on that ground. We were sitting right in the front row, and it sure didn't look real to me. I was in shock and disbelief.

Plus, he looked like he was OK standing in the hotel lobby less than a couple of hours after it happened.

    Fair enough.

You obviously have more context to go off of (in terms of conversing with the horse's mouth), and thus can formulate an opinion that's inclusive of a psychological assessment directly from the source.

The video, however, leads me to believe otherwise. Furthermore, Kermit has displayed a propensity for strange and peculiar behavior; thus, I'm inclined not to give him the benefit of the doubt.

I find it highly unlikely that his professional athlete ass couldn't stop himself from flying out of the ring.. I don't think he jumped, I think he went with the momentum and flew out of the ring, having the ability to stop it from happening if he wanted it. Why, not quite sure.. Injury was bull****, and his antics after the fall make it seem like he didn't want to fight anymore. I don't think he planned to jump or get out of the fight, but I do believe he took advantage of the situation when he flew towards the ropes and saw the opportunity for an 'easier' end to the fight he thought he was winning on the cards.

I love how so-called mentally weak professional boxers are always hatching bizarre impromptu (literally, mid-air, or mid-being-punched) schemes involving all sorts of acrobatic hijinx, phony injuries and the like, all because they suddenly need a "way out".

Andre Dirrell -- hit in the face while on the ground by Arthur Abraham then makes a split second decision to feign a knockout. People believe this.

Kermit Cintron -- gets off balance and suddenly in a few hundred milliseconds makes all sorts of mental calculations (judges scorecards, it's round 4 and will go the cards, I can land on this table real nice and soft, be home by midnight, etc.). People overwhelmingly believe this.

Bernard Hopkins -- 47 year old gets shouldered off and lands awkwardly on his back and comes up instantly grabbing his shoulder. He makes this decision to fake an injury because "he needs a way out" after two uneventful rounds -- 47 year old veteran who has been through countless wars. People believe this.

The moon landing -- it was faked. People believe this.

    and so on.

Please, sometimes people really do fall out of the ring. Really! It happens. Sometimes people really aren't faking injuries in boxing! For real! Ponder it for a moment.

He didn't intentionally jump out the ring. He did however pretend to be too hurt to continue.

Cintron would make one hell of a wrestler. That was a good fall onto the Spanish announce table.
