Do you think Cotto can beat Angulo?

Well, it's obvious Cotto is a class above Angulo as a fighter and he's going to land a ton on Angulo and probably make him look silly. But Angulo will keep on coming and i don't know about Cotto's chin/resolve right now.

Would be fun as heck to watch.

No. Angulo would walk Cotto down and land eventually. THe thing that worried me is that when someone throws at Cotto he freezes with the left hand up and right hand down just waiting till they get done throwing. I dont understand why he cant correct this. Until he does he gets beat by any of the top 154 fighters. Angulo would have a hayday with that opening.

Agreed with the thread starter, Angulo is a beatable poor mans Margarito.

I'd slightly favor Cotto if they fought but Angulo is still not to be trifled with, Cotto would have to be on guard because Angulo has the 1 punch that can hurt Cotto.

But the question is can Angulo connect?:think

 

Everyone Cotto fought has connected so the better question is can he take the greater power at 154 against true punchers? I think Cotto can outbox Angulo early but once he gets tired from carrying the extra weight he'll end up beat up and stopped late by Angulo. Angulo really commits to his punches and hits harder than anyone Cotto has faced down at 147.

 

I think Cotto has shown to a class above a guy like Angulo. Cotto has more skills and is damn strong too. Cotto the fav until Angulo can prove he can get by a much lesser fighter in Cintron........that was embarrassing for the dog. He has alot to prove.:deal

LOL..."beat".....It would be hard to be Angulo. Nor do I think Cotto would want to be a mexican dog.

 

****....Yuri would outbox Angulo. So I think it's safe to say that Cotto wouldn't have much problems with Angulo if they were to fight. It would be very entertaining and a decent win for Cotto so I hope they can make it happen...that or Kermit the frog... Hopefully he won't find the chance to leap out of the fight when things get a little difficult.
