Do you think Dawson was drained, and if so how much did it affect him?

The question is seriously meant. I just want to hear what impression people got from the fight.

IMO Ward proved his superior boxing abillity. He always seem to have a way to approach a situation, while Dawson often dont and get passive. I think Dawson seemed affected by the weight loss, but I cant see him winning at 175 anyway. He would probably do a bit better, but I doubt it would be much.

Wasn't drained at all. He's been dropped before maybe Wards hits harder then people think since hes fought alot tough opponents in his last fights.

Dawson was definitely drained. His punch resistance was non-existent, and he also couldn't pull the trigger.

I've never seen such a poor Dawson. Johnson, Tarver, Diaconu, Pascal, Hopkins never dropped him before.

I wouldn't say he was drained, but your punch resistance diminishes when you do cut weight and rehydrate. He never had a good chin at 175, and he had an even worse chin at 168. Pretty simple.

Last night he didn't look like he had a good chin. At 175, his chin was above average. The couple times he tasted canvas, he got up, and worked through it.

I knew he was in trouble when I saw that he re-hydrated all the way back into the 180s just like he does for his light heavyweight fights. To me that shows a tough weight cut, and can't be good for the body. He also looked a bit slim at the weigh in about the neck.
