Do you think Demetrius Andrade is overrated and can defeat Charlo, Canelo and GGG

While I was pulling for Vanes in the Andrade fight, it was that fight in particular that made me a fan.
Vanes has a style that takes an impeccable defense to beat, and Andrade found out early that he throws well place and timed shots.
But....after that early scare, hard to give Vanes 3 clear rds....

He had 1 or 2 rds that Andrade simply allowed him to outwork him, while passively countering, but they go clear to Vanes for being the agressor, setting the pace and at least appearing, the stronger guy, and there was a rd or 2 where Vanes mighta swung it with a 10 second barrage near the end of an Andrade rd, but overall....I had it Andrade 8-4. 115-112.

Mgmt problems and poor promoting and lowball offers forced him to take some time off and get control of his career.
Sadly, being in the LMW division, it's almost all rds thru Haymon, and for a guy who just won his freedom, it could be a death nail.
He tried in vain to make the Culcay fight....but Sauerland knows they hold the cards, it looks like Andrade gonna have to bend some to get a mandate and take a short stack to get some bargaining power.
If I were him, I'd look to sign a deal with Main Events or GBP. Let uncle BHop help navigate him or Mama Duva.
GBP would be best, but he might be froze out of the Yeller sweeps or asked to take an L.

Hell.....If he moved to the UK....Hearn would swoop him up and have him in a title fight in 2-3 fights.

 

As for his chances vs Mallo.....I'd give him 40% at 154, but only 25% at 160.
I think he would SCHOOL Mello at either weight, and he's probably 50/50 with Yeller at 154, maybe 40/60 in Yellers favor at 160.
GGG.....he'd have a 10% of surviving the distance vs GGG at 154.....and maybe a 5% chance of hearing the final bell at 160. 0% chance of winning unless GGG suffered an injury or was DQd.

Yeller....that's ol Yeller CanelHOE, that redheaded Mexican chicken.

 

He's big for the division, has some good skills, but he's definitely not on Canelo's or Lara's level. He's chinny and doesn't have the experience those 2 have. I'd also pick both Charlo's over him, but I do think Andrade gives them all a tough fight.

 

If Charlo doesn't have to drug test, and weighs 175 in the ring again, he wil be hard to beat for anybody at 154. Drug testing for his fight with Williams was light. No VADA, or USADA or anything. Does Andrade have the skill to beat him though? Yeah. Williams was clearly the better boxer in that ring with Charlo. Charlo has some power though, and a bit of skill himself.

 

Most of the things that Stiverne uploads are clips, highlights and amateur fights, rarely a full televised fight.

 

Williams was definitely the better boxer in the ring that night. Charlo was just too big and needs to take his big ass up to 160 where he belongs.
