He gets credit because he beat the WW champ and the #3 P4P fighter. End of story!

The fight went as I expected. I give Floyd credit for the win though... Mosley is no pushover.

And yes, I give Mayweather full credit for beating an old, shrivelled, washed up Shane Mosley.

It was the guy people demanded he should fight and there were many that wanted this fight over the Pacquiao fight since Mosley was officially the top Welterweight.

I'm not saying Mosley wasn't past it, yes he was past it clearly and Mosley is one of my all-time favorites.

full credit as in he beat a great prime fighter? No. Credit that he beat Mosley in 2010. yes. He beat a decent fighter still. Mosley now was about the caliber of Cotto and Mayweather beat him easily with a little scare in round 2 with Floyd being wobbled, but he showed guts. By the way, if Mosley hurt Floyd with that punch then Hearns right hand would have knocked out Floyd.

He gets full credit for beating a 39 years old fighter who gassed out and asthmatic after 2 rounds!

I don't understand the thread! Does he want us to give credit for beating a prime Mosley in a 39 years old body?

Yes, Floyd deserves full credit for beating a 39 year old 16 month inactive Mosley.

The exact credit I said I would give him pre fight.:good

Beating a 39 year old man, who hasn't fought in more than a year, subjected to blood draining, and wobbled him in the second round, and gassed out in the remaining rounds? :rofl:rofl :patsch:hi::yep:scaredas::fire:yikes

    It's not that
It's that Floyd didn't fight the best "version" of Mosley
You can't argue he's not as good as he used to be
Still he deserves credit for completely outclassing him.

So when Floyd said in interviews, Mosley is a pointless fight, "the Mosley with 5 losses", even a COUPLE days before the fight Mayweather said "Mosley has stamina issues, wait and see".

Why did you guys criticise him for saying these things pre-fight? But now seem to be saying exactly the same things post fight?
