Yes , not easly but he would beat him convincingly .

Don't forget that May fought with Cotto at 154 pounds ( Cotto's comfortable weight ) , then Cotto came after a good win-avenge against Margarito , then Cotto had probably his best training camp with a very good trainer ( Pedro Diaz )......

I think this Cotto was the best Cotto that I've ever seen ...... :yep

wtf is this bull**** about cottos comfortable weight? he moved up because he couldnt make any money at 147 as long as pac was still there and floyd could fight easier fights. cotto is not a natural jr middle. he is nowhere near as good as he was at 140 or 147. his three previous fights at 154 are fights a prospect would take on his way to making a name.

Always did think Mayweather whoops Pac, and have seen nothing in either of thems most recent fights to make me think differently.
Mayweather could stand outside and outbox him easily.
Mayweather is a long way ahead of Pac.
In fact, I think Cotto with Diaz beats Pac, and I think JMM would beat him for a 4th time.

Floyd would have Pac bouncing off that right hand all night, at the end of the day.. it's Pacquiao.. he ain't giving anyone an easy nights work for **** sake, but styles make fights and Floyd is all wrong for Pac.

Pac's "ambush" tactics are almost entirely based on his athletic abilities. No way will he move in and out of range without floyd timing him. Not only is floyd a great boxer, but he too is a great athlete. He can easily match pac for speed and he probably punches harder than pac.

When pac tries to whirlwind his way in, he'll be outlanded by potshots. Once floyd starts putting 2 and 3 together pac will have no choice but to jump back.

Unless pac lands a 1 punch ko, there's no way he wins this.

The argument for pac being greater has some credit. The argument for pac being better has none.

Anyone who fights a volume puncher and who digs the body a lot and throws with more power than you is never an easy fight.

Even the JMM Pac 3, JMM ate lots of leather and had his face disfigured, which cannot be said when Gaytweetyfeather fought JMM.

The reason why Tweetybird is reluctant to fight Pac is that even if he wins, he won't end up pretty after the fight. Just look at Mosley who ran more than half of the 12 rounds and he still had to wear shades post fight.

WTF suddenly Cotto is "Comfortable" fighting at 154. Both are not legitimate junior middleweights, but since Gay is not a junior middle, being fought at 154 actually did not offer any side any advantage except that they do not have to worry about weights - for both of them
