Not even his fans like his chances against MW. Canelo is like Donaire. Very good when they have size advantages but nobody seems them doing well when they fight guys their size. GGG would easily KO Canelo.

yeah the WBA is a Joke, WBA lets their Interim champs defend indefinitely without having to Unify with the Regular/Super champion

    no
best way to solve this problem is eliminate the shitty weight classes. there shouldnt be a 130, 140, 154 or 168

just think about it, do you think Canelo(172 lbs on fight night) would be even a contender on the LHW division with the likes of Chad? No, Canelo would not do ok with LHW

Only the Catchweight King can do that.

Canelo can't because he's not the Catchweight King like Floyd.

I disagree, hard work and dedication can surpass talent. Todays fighters and boxing fans are too sold on bigger, faster, stronger adage. I personally think if fighter stayed in shape year round, regardless if they had fight line up or not, we would see better quality fights and we would not see these one sided boxing matches.
Instead fighters ballon 20 to 30 pound between fights and then age themselves trying to cut weight. This type of fight plan is the exact reason Hatton retired from boxing early, and never reached his full potential.
Floyd and Hopkins defiantly took a page from the old school rule of "Always stay in shape and always stay on your man" a plan that has proven itself with many champions, Hagler being the first that comes to mind, that staying with in your fighting weight year round is the best thin a fighter can do to prolong his career.

In that case Canello would be forced to fight at ether 147 or 160. This would defiantly effect or eliminate fighters who ballon 20 to 30 pound over their fighting weight.

this wouldn't have been a big deal if boxing goes back to sake day weigh in.

it's not the divisions, it's the practice. a lot of guys drain themselves to make weight and rehydrate so they are bigger on fight night.

take off that weigh-in before the day of fight **** and boxers will be fighting were they belong
