Morrison inspite of his weak chin had bigger heart than Moorer. Moorer was ****. People who watched the 90's will still remember the Duke in his prime.

There's a small but real chance that Moorer took a dive.

So he let himself get leveled by Foreman?

That punch ripped up the inside of Moorer's mouth so badly that it required 36 stitches to close.

To think it wasn't that powerful, think for a minute about what level of force is required to do that with a punch that travels about 18 inches?

Most get it. Moorere was foolish & arrogant.
Froeman set him up well, & good points about him being bot sofetened up by the lefts & becoming complacent about the right. Foreman was also positioning him for it.

10 seconds before the KO Teddy Atlas was screaming at his fighter to stay away.

Foreman could be 97 & using a waling stick; he still might crush you.
Why on earth would anyone stand in the pocket like that/
It was the one good way to lose a fight with Big George.

No not lucky. Moorer can complain all he wants, but the fact is it was his own fault that he stood right in front of George while already having the fight in the bag on points.

NO. Foreman hurt Moorer with the shot before and followed up with the final blow.

Tommy was at least equal or even superior to Moorer as a boxer.

Remember, Tommy faced a younger, hungrier version of Foreman.

Tommy laced Big George with as many shots as Moorer. He moved in and out and exchanged often with George. He was never even in trouble.

    Tommy > Moorer.

Sorry Morrison was not a good boxer. Remember he was smoked by the likes of Mike Bentt too if you want to call out bad performances. Moorer was the supremely skilled fighter. He was an excellent technician, he had an excellent right jab and hooked well off of it, something really hard to do, (Wlad also good at it), but Morrison was a left hook no jab and thats about it. Both were tough guys but Morrison was the truer heavy and Moorer was just a fat boy who shouldnt have been above cruiser, but he was lazy. Remember Moorer was shutting out Foreman too before he got stupid.

Moorer was considerably better than Haye.

Morrison stayed the hell away, even turning his back on Foreman.

Not the way I saw it.

He turned his back perhaps, a few times, but not to run, to reset.

every time Tommy would start landing, George would get inside, hold, or start pushing to get Tommy at his range.

Tommy did not play along, he simply went back several steps, THEN planted his feet and threw his combos, he was hitting big George with some serious leather.... Foreman would bull rush in close, Morrison would go back and extra foot, and reset.

Went on the whole fight. Tommy was not Running, he was trading, then moving back and resetting for the constantly forward moving Foreman. It was a fight of ranges, and Tommy was faster to the punch and range.

Moorer was not a better boxer, than Tommy, but he was a better at counters, and had a better defense he also had more stamina. Tommy had better combos and I think was faster, hit a little harder, and was smarter.

If the two fought I would favor Tommy.
