Do you think Froch will win another world title?

Can you see him defeating any of the current title holders at smw?
Not to mention the fact that if he were to lose against Abraham he would be unable to fight for the WBC & WBA titles until the super six had concluded.
I think most would agree that the only belt holder he would be assured of victory against is Stieglitz.
If Froch were to pull out of the super six fighting Siteglitz might prove to be a useful confidence builder, even though he has on numerous occasions in the past declared his disdain for the WBO.
But would he think it beneath himself to fight for the WBO?
Or how about a trip to lhw?
    Maybe a fight with Shumenov?

Yeah i think he can. What he has to do now is accept advice and take it in, Even if he finds it hard to listen he has to because he showed he can box with the best of them and fight with best of em. He brings a lot to the table for any fighter but he now has to realize what he's good at and do it. His jab is a fantastic weapon and should be used much much more effectively.

He can beat Kessler in a rematch imo, He can beat Stieglitz and i can't see any reason to argue with that. He can beat Bute as well, Ward would be the toughest stylistically but i think he wouldn't have as much trouble finding Ward as Dirrell. But Ward is a slick tactically aware fighter.

So yes he can win a world title again.

I think so to but I think he may well pull out of the super six, denying him the opportunity to win his title back.

    Yes.

Froch doesn't seem the kind of guy that will let a defeat ruin his self confidence. I still haven't seen the fight on Saturday so i'm skeptical as to commit to prediction however it seems a lot on here had it close and my friends who watched it also did. So if that was the case it isn't out of the realms of possibility that he could avenge his defeat with Kessler. He could beat Stieglitz pretty comfortably too.

I'd be very suprised if Froch didn't pick up one of the four straps at either 168/175 again in his career

Both the WBU and Frank Warren are after a new world champion, so why not.

But in all honesty, there's no reason why he shouldnt, unless these last few wars have taken everything out of him. After seeing him against Kessler, i dont think he'l beat Bute, but he could definitely more than challenge Steiglitz aka Mr 'I wanna fight Calzaghe and beocme the new Veit' and put a hurting on him.

Yes i think he can either at supermiddle or light heavy. Though i have to admit if he loses to Abraham and then rematches Pascal he could lose three on the trot and retire

If it all goes the way I think it will:

WARD DEC GREEN/WARD DEC DIRRELL-Ward-6 pts

    KESSLER DEC GREEN-Kessler 4 PTS

    ABRAHAM KO FROCH-Abraham 6 pts

Will leave Kessler on 4, Arthur on 6, Ward on 6, Green on 0 and Froch and Dirrell tied on 2.

Rematch? How will it go if a play-off is necessary?

I think that if he leaves his existing promoter for someone else then he can win more than one strap...:yep

I aint see the fight yet with Kessler, from reading the posts on here it was quite an easy decision with not much room for debate...:yep

Kessler may just have his number, it happens like that in boxing...:yep

I predicted it beforehand; Froch was at the right range for Kessler to do his best work. And for most of the fight, that was the case. Frochy didn't time the right hand enough (Hell, he didn't throw it enough) and Kessler won it clearly, 116-112 on my card, and the rounds won were clear for both. Even when the rounds were tight towards the end, Kessler was just outpunching Frochy.

Had it 3-3 after 6 rounds, think I gave Frochy the 8th......can't remember and don't have my individual rounds with me, but I have to say, The Cobra shouldn't get too much stick for losing. He should be praised for taking consistently tough fights.

I scored the fight on Saturday for Kessler by 2, but Froch really impressed me, it was a very very close fight. I thought Froch was woeful against Dirrell, but very good here. He'll win another title i reckon yeah.

I agree, i can see Froch ending up with 2 points but still going though on account of him beating Dirrell on head to head. That would really irk the yanks. can you imagine the indignation of MichiganWarrior and his ilk if their boy Andre was knocked out of the S6 by the cobra!

Theres a ruck of criteria in place to separate tied fighters but I can't find a link for it.
