The fight could have happened these last couple of years, but the more time goes on the more it looks unlikely ever to happen. What's the chances of it coming off now doyou think?
If Fury beats Usyk its a hard no he'll say Usyk beat AJ and he beat Usyk so theres no need. If he loses again I see both of them making that their last fight as a final cash out for their careers. If they are both out of contention thats really the only big fight Fury can make. AJ could fight Wilder but Fury is a bigger fight. I'll say 35% chance of happening? That sound about right?
Joshua should not be gifted a shot at Fury if he were to avenge his defeat to Usyk. In any case what is officially happening with the enforced rematch Dubois had to agree to so he could actually fight Joshua ? Has Dubois just got to sit around and wait for Joshua to decide what’s next for his career !
I think they will fight at some point as it's too much money to leave on the table, however it will be Khan-Brook type of situation with Joshua being Khan in this analogy.
Will Joshua ever fight Fury? Will Joshua ever fight Wilder? Both have gone well past their 'best before' dates and getting close to their 'use before' dates, when they become no longer consumable.
Sell by dates?. Even when both are rank smelling and Anaerobic off ... We'll all still watch it and the ESB RBR will be off the very high average scale.
Yep this is what I am thinking even with both being past their best it is still a big fight and a huge pay day for both men.
Of course it will, it'll be the highest grossing heavyweight match in the history of the UK even after all of their losses and most likely their highest paydays as well. They'd both have to be utterly incompetent fools to pass it up, as would the promoters if they choose not to make it.
I don't think so. As shot as Joshua is, I think Fury is more so. He spent YEARS berating Joshua every chance he could. If they were to fight and Fury were to lose, he would be even more humiliated than he already is. Fury seems to struggle with fast little guys and guys his size that are stronger than him. I reckon the fight would be similar to the Ngannou fight, but I think Joshua would get a KO. I don't think Fury has the power and strength to bully Joshua, something nu-Fury overly relies on. IF they do fight, it'll be so past the sale by date that it'll look like Tyson vs RJJ.
AJ turned the fight down at least twice on record. 1. Fury comeback, AJ refused 50/50. This is from Hearn at the time. 2. Fury v Chisora III December fight. AJ was offered fight but wanted control of terms instead of taking title shot with some humble after losing twice to Usyk. Nobody knows the exact terms but let's just say everyone else would take that fight. Things have changed for AJ as his options are running out and he keeps losing. If Fury looks bad or gets KO'd, AJ will probably want the fight. If Fury wins, AJ will probably still want it as it's yet another title shot and Fury is more vulnerable now. But if Fury does get KO'd and retires, let's just remember who dodged comeback Fury and prime Fury.
Twenty years from now after they both got beaten by Logan Paul's son (the best ever) they will duke it out for the #2 spot.
