Froch will fight GGG next year. He will let GGG become an even bigger star in the next 12 months. So the fight will make even more money. And den he has a ready made excuse if he loses cause he hasn't fought in 2 years.

 

Before a boxer worries about the riches and the b itches and the fame, he has to beat someone elite. For GGG, that would either be Canelo, Cotto or Ward. He needs to fight one of them by the end of 2016 or this Big Drama Show is going to go stale.

After that, he can dominate whichever weight class he is most comfortable in.

You don't get to go back to 160 after fighting a 190lb Ward.

GGG is a 168/172lb fighter. Canelo regularly has come in higher. Maidana has come in higher.

For GGG to fight Ward AT full weight, he'd have to put on 10lbs of lean muscle, and it would NEVER come off.
Hence why ward is not calling for a GGG fight at 160.

The LEGACY FIGHTS FOR GGG are Cotto, Canelo, Lee, Lemieux, kyrtov, Lara, boo boo, Charlos, martirosyan, EUBANK and BJS, murota.
Meanwhile, ward can keep fighting BURNT out neverbeens like Mac and Smith or make a few concessions and fight the ATG MW of this era.
