I'm not as impressed as some seem to be about Cotto.
At his very best I'd rate Cotto a high B.
Conditioning and ability to whether storms are important factors in determining an overall package.

The only thing I'd rate Cotto above Golovkin is defense, but for my taste Cotto gets to defensive to the point where it really becomes "survival mode" when things are not going right for him.

Overall Cotto has faced a better class of fighter, but off Golovkin's fights with Canelo and Jacobs, I'd rate him slightly above Cotto, and this coming from someone who thought Golovkin lost both those fights.

Their skillsets being comparable, Golovkin's edges Cotto as an overall better fighter with his ability to change the dynamics of a fight with his tremendous punching power.
