Do you think Haney Lomachenko was a close fight

8-4, 9-3 Loma.

 

Of course it was. Not much happened the first 6-7 rounds.

 

To me it was one of those competitive fights where i thought it was quite clear who the winner was if that makes sense.

Thought Loma won 115-113. Can't find 7 rounds for Haney.

 

Close but clear. I was angry watching the last two rounds. Couldn’t believe Loma would coast on such and important fight after his history with close fights. At this point I think he just can’t push himself for 12 rounds.

Haney is a fraud. He's really good or maybe even great, but in terms of claim vs accomplishment he's so far out over his front foot that every win he accumulates suffers diminishing returns.

 

The most egregious thing about the fight to me is how Dave Moretti could score round 10 in Haney's favor. No idea how you can even call that one close, let alone score it for him. Then again this is the same guy who scored a knockdown round in Davis-Garcia a 10-10, so we may just be looking at an old boy who needs to retire

 

Dudes been a judge since the 70s. Time to hang them up. I’m sick and tired of these old, blind, people judging high profile fights.
