Do you think Haye genuinely thinks he is better than the Klitschkos?

As much as I'd like to agree with you, I just don't think that's the case. Haye's fans, I mean the casual fans that know nothing outside the sport beyond the British domestic scene, wouldn't care what version of Vitali he beat. They didn't care that Valuev was crap and past his prime, they didn't care that Ruiz was semi-retired, and they allowed themselves to get their panties in a lather over the Audley fight. Haye could beat a 45 year old Vitali who hadn't won a significant fight in years and was coming off a four year layoff, and those idiots and their panderers in the media would still portray it like the second coming of Ali over Foreman.

Haye has speed and power so he could threaten Vitali. Vitali is getting slower; the magnificent dude has been through many a war and is getting very old for a boxer. I still favor Vitali slightly but i would pay to see that fight.

I believe he genuinly believes he can beat Vitali Klitschko based on his latest performance against Dereck Chisora. I think he knows that at this point he has very little chance against Wladimir Klitschko. He now knows he would have to knock him out to win and its not that easy to knock him out and to win on points is nearly impossible.

Klitschko's are too strong for Haye.

Klitschko's are better, Haye is worse

Too bad he didn't performed well against Klitschko. I mean he could of taken the sport to a new level and made people belive in boxing again, atleast Heavyweight boxing.

He is chasing the $. I think he is hopeful that he can get a fight against Vitali and Vitali will be old. Then he could say I beat the bigger one when I was healthy and lost to the smaller one with a broken toe. Either way, both Klitschkos are better than Haye.

Based on his complete lack of ambition against Wlad and complete inability to take risks and attack- he was just surviving in there. Thats not how you fight if you genuinely feel in the ring you are superior to your opponent. All of the smack talk before hand is expected from Haye as its how he sells fights and gets the big fights. How he fought in the ring when he saw what he was up against spoke volumes.

I actually thinks it's both. He's definitely "trolling" like someone said (I like that term) and money is his number 1 motivator but part of him must think he can beat Vitali- or at least have a chance. I really don't think he could be so obsessed about a getting a fight without a part of him thinking he will win.

What pisses me off the most about Haye is that he won't fight anyone else even though he has the skill to beat most other HW's outside of the Klitschkos.

    Serious question

    Did his performance against Wlad

if you saw it that is

show you that he thought he could win?
