Do you think Haye injuries were genuine?

It does seem a bit dodgy but I don't understand why he would do all the training for 1st fight then cut himself by purpose a week before fight and then why reschedule when you know fine well that your not going to end up fighting. And you don't get severe shoulder problems like that by purpose.

Just wondering what everyone thought because Tyson Fury and some people do seem to think that Haye is definetly doing it by purpose.

can anyone doubt the serious, massive, toe injury. too awful to contemplate. not enough time has passed to revisit this tragedy.

Because his training camp has been beyond terrible. They were unorganized, they had troubles with other Booth fighters ( the one that left the camp ), and the sparring session has been too harsh and showed Haye's bad form. In the fight against chisora, more than one year ago, he was gasping for air already in the second (second!!) round; more than a year later, he was gasping even while shadow boxing for a promo!
He looked definitely overweight, and not so sharp even in the little material that has been released.
    Wach said he could never really test his chin, he was never hit clean and consistently enough;
You don't spar without headgear just one week before an important fight, unless you are really desperate about your conditioning or you need a cut or some other excuse.

Tyson Fury was dropped by Pajik (Light Puncher) and Cunningham,
Haye fancied his chances, most boxing journalists fancied haye to win.
    I believe his injuries.

Haye broke a written contract with Vlad and an implied contract with Vitali. Haye claimed he had a bad toe when he fought Vlad..............I think Tyson Fury would have beaten Haye. I know he will knock Wilder out, but Wilder will not fight him. Wilder knows the title will be given to him without his ever fighting for it just like the #3 WBC ranking..............at least Fury has fought better fighters. Wilder refused to fight Chisora or Thompson. Vlad knocked Thompson out two times..........

The cut was bull****. My friends boss met Haye in Dubai and said that he did not have a mark on him. He even got a picture with him and right enough, nothing there. Not sure about the shoulder.

I'm only referring to his recent injury which I voted "Yes" for. The toe nonsense and the first Wladimir postponement were obviously fake.

Do you have to mention the klitschkos and wilder in every thread no matter what the topic is? Is it some sort of promotional deal? Because if not, you are ****ing weird.

Why would he try to get out of a big money fight he's favored in? Why would he devote all that time to promoting it and training for it to fake an injury? It would make no sense at all.

    They are.

Haye has the name for pulling out of fights with phantom injuries, but I really believe this one is 100% legit. You can't say he wasted his career though, because although ridiculously inactive he made more cash as someone with his capabilities should have if he had a normal activity level.

I do think he will be back (again), and there still would be hype if he does.

The toe was broken and I know for a fact he was having pain killing injections in his foot leading up to the fight.

The injections clearly worked, cause he was running like never before with that toe. :yep
