Do you think Haye would rematch Wladimir?

No, It's a no win situation for Haye. If he does win the fight Klitschko is past it in the eyes of many, if he loses it reaffirms that losing the first fight had nothing to do with his dodgy big toe.

Well I think the premise of this thread was that Klitschko beats Joshua first. If Klitschko will be able to do that then I don't think he'll be seen as past it in the eye of the public because Joshua has a lot of hype behind him and a win against him would be seen as a big achievement to casuals.

In that case Haye would have a lot to gain by beating Wlad but I think that it would still be too much of a risk for him to take the fight, especially if Wlad looks like the good old Wlad from the early 2010s again. Haye doesn't take risks and also the build up for the fight between him and Wlad would probably be a bit boring. Unless the people have forgot about their "boring" (I actually liked it, it was a nice clinic by Wlad) first fight I don't see it doing spectacular numbers.

I think in that case Haye would just go after Wilder or wait for Joshua to build himself up again after that potential loss.

Make no mistake though, a win against Wlad would do Haye a lot of good, it would somehow erase the only big loss of his career and make the toe story believable and establish him as the man at HW.

 

No. He already got embarrassed once by him and it seemed to eat away at his heart.

I also don't think Wladimir would waste what little time he has left as a boxer fighting Haye again.

 

Any version of Wlad beats any version of Haye, just a different level of fighter completely.

The first fight was so one-sided and anti-climatic I can't see there being much interest in a rematch.

No. We've seen how it plays out already - that saga rumbled on for an eternity before they actually got in the ring and it was such an anti climax when they did.

When Wladimir beats Joshua Haye is going to be in a very awkward position. He won't want to lose and be humiliated again. The other options he has are Wilder, who I think would be a easy fight for Haye, but Haye does not want to do VADA testing, so that is not a viable option. He could fight Parker of course for a much smaller purse, but that is a fight he just turned down. I think back tracking and fighting Parker is probably what Haye will do.
