Do you think is reasonable to suspect on hopkins?

any fighter can potentially be taking PED's. with all that money on the line, getting that little extra advantage is not out of the question.

while i believe hopkins and pacquiao are clean, they should take the test just to shut up the haters and also remove any doubt that the haters have sadly placed on their legacy.

however, if i had to pick between hopkins and pacman, i'd be inclined to think hopkins uses enhancement drugs. he was a convicted bank robber of course so he's not exactly someone who has a honest track record. also how he reacted in the press conference showed he seemed way to rattled by pascal's comments. at least with pacman he has been seen on video years ago saying how he doesn't like taking blood close to fights.

and finally, i am VERY curious to know what hopkins stance was on pacman taking the tests. we all know hopkins is very quick to tell the world his long-winded thoughts, so what did he say about pacman? it would look very hypocritical if he said pacman should do the testing!

 

Close to the fight still doesn't mean ****. You can get a disease anytime from the time you took the test to the night leading up to the fight. That gap leaves an opening for getting something. The same **** you have argued about you are now trying to twist.

There have been very few times when I actually wanted to see a fighter get seriously hurt in the ring. Like many others I talk trash about stretchers and comas, et, but it's just smack-talk with no real malice intended.

That's not the case with Hopkins/Pascal. I sincerely hope Hopkins does serious, career-ending, damage to that loud mouth punk.

 

I wasnt comparing it with mayweathers request, just trying to say that osdt is a idealisic vision that will have more downsizes( fighters being accused, reputation tarnished, image of boxing tarnished etc.) then advantages, you cant properly check fighters if you nto check them in off season as well and since its too expensive, it either should be only in all title fights or we shoudl trust the regular testing.

 

B Hop wins on craftiness, not physicality. He hasn't had any dramatic variations to his body in years. Pascal might be playing mental games, or he might genuinely suspect something based on Hopkins ability to maintain this physique at this age. Only one way to know for sure, but the fight is already signed. There's no pressure on Hopkins to submit to any additional testing.

This is what I don't get though. How does this edge you mentally? If Hopkins agreed and had no problem with it then that mental edge would back fire. Hopkins would be showing major confidence. As a matter of fact, Hopkins turning it down could back fire as now even if Hopkins was clean, Pascal can have it in his mind that maybe Hopkins is on something and then Pascal just mentally screwed himself.

Mosley and Mayweather took blood test and nobody really cared about it. You can't get a mental edge if the fighter don't give a crap.
