Followed boxing for decades and love it more than any other sport, nothing compares atmosphere wise to a boxing show especially a big title fight. I understand the business aspects but im interested only in watching fights of all levels. I have no interest who runs an nfl team, football club, baseball team etc or who runs boxing governing bodies. I do wish there were less weights (no super or light or junior per weight class ) and one ttle per weight but that aint happening.

yes the casuals of today are not the smartest but I am thinking for the long term educating casuals or have something in place so in the future we really get the fights we want.

managers and advisers have way to much power in boxing today fans need to have the complete power.

Boxing has ALWAYS been a business first, sport second.

You're way too obvious at what you're implying. Boxing just needs a single commission, one governing body. Multiple belts are fine but multiple sanctioning bodies are not.

Boxingmaster, all you're doing is talking about Showtime, Floyd, Haymon, etc. If you really want to address issues in boxing, address it as a whole. Stop being a fanboy and just be a fan of boxing.

Fans don't need to know PPV numbers, that's for negotiating between the camps. Fans pay for what they want to see. Worth is subjective, a pair of Nikes might be worth $145 to me but only $45 to you.

Boycotting fights isn't the answer, if you don't want to see it, don't pay. Simple. Apparently people want to see it and if they continuously pay, I guess they're happy.

You don't have to, you've mentioned it in countless other posts. Don't take me for an idiot.

they may not need to know but what I am saying is it will benefit them because it will decide what fight gets made.

Not necessarily. It CAN help but it guarantees nothing. People didn't buy Canelo's PPVs too much so now he's fighting on standard HBO, non-PPV. What would help get the fights is a single governing body like the UFC. There's too many hands in the cookie jar. Too much money and greedy people involved. Promoter's too, including Arum. Why risk your cash cow when you can make millions for a few more years? Promoters are going to milk their cash cows dry before feeding them to the wolves. The issues you addressed in your original post are only PART of the problem. But the problem with your thread is that you're showing favoritism and singling out the people you don't like rather than addressing the real issues.

You're biased and too emotionally attached.

It's not the business they have to understand, it's the match ups, (which is understanding styles, size, age factors etc.) that's all. If they understood what the competitive fights were, then we would get competitive, entertaining, and maybe even exciting fights. That's what seperates hard core fans from casual ones, we know what the good match are, and support accordingly.

Well that is a good idea but I never stated that this was the only tool that would help get the fights made their needs to be more then one thing.

But what haymon is doing paying fighters of so they do not take the tough fights is damaging to the sport do you agree with me on that?

Not really, people like you already claim to know but just make a jackass of your self every time you post. We are better off with out people "pretending" to know such as your self.
