i voted for rubbish since i think jacobs is not a level. a level in terms of the current middleweight scene? yes. put jacobs in the 90s middleweight scene and lets see what level he comes out at.

well an overwhelming majority voted for jacobs in a very unfair poll so i thought some balance was needed. in hindsight i should not have voted and instead complained like some others had done. but i regret nothing

Nah, not A level. I think B is about right, or B+ whatever. I read way too much into the Pirog loss to be honest and didn't think he could really improve but hey I was wrong as is often the case. His size and movement alone will always give people problems. People suggested his struggles with health around the Pirog fight could have made him weak and I didn't really buy it but he does look awfully stronger, certainly less fragile.
GGG was able to win vs Jacobs because of his elite jab. I've got absolutely no idea how Canelo would beat Jacobs other than an overhand-right. He'd lose quite badly. Even GGG couldn't get him out of there, even GGG this stage of his career hits harder than Canelo. I think it'll be like the Lara fight, but Jacobs can bang so Canelo's not walking him down. He'll be out of range most of the night.
Danny always been a top 5 guy in my book. He11 I expected Kid Choc Choc to give him a fight and BOOM first round KTFO On the flip I totally expected GGG to score a mid round KO on him as I did same for GGG with Canelo
I put Jacobs 11 in my p4p list. He is a great fighter, really underestimated by most, by myself as well before the GGG fight, I thought he was just a wild puncher but in truth he has got skills and technique, footwork, power ans a chin as well,
