    A-level seems to mean different things to different people.

    For me, it is a fighter who legitimately might be the best 2-3 in the division, and has done enough to prove that he's in that conversation.

    Quite a low bar compared to others, so I would tend to vote yes.

    I know that many people have A-level as in p4p-level, however I prefer the more generous terms right across the board.

    I just feel that "C-level", "bums", "journeyman" etc. are thrown out as insults to decent fighters far too often, and every little bit helps to counter that.

    To be fair your poll isn't quite right, plenty of people might think he's not A-level but not rubbish either. To do a fair poll it should've been A-level, B-level etc. or just a yes/no.

    You said Reggie Johnson is a better MW than Jacobs. This better boxer than you nonsense is all subjective. None of us are right because they will never fought. So, you can quit with the patronising crap you keep throwing my direction. I'm allowed to state Jacobs was a better boxer than Johnson without some hurt fanboy trying to insult me.

    As for MM being elite, He was at world level and fought other world level contenders in some tough match-ups.

    Not reading my comments to their fullest extent is why I really can't speak about boxing with you because you're rather ****ing slow. You must have missed the part when I clearly said I watch classic boxing matches on youtube.

    If I did that what level would you vote him at? A? Like the rest of the boxing forum. If I say "A-Level" and leave rubbish underneath, well, anybody who dosen't think he was an A-level boxer will vote rubbish wouldn't they?
    I really don't understand that complaint about correctly constructing an online poll. That's scraping at the bottom of the barrel.

    Its a rather ridiculous complaint come to think of it. You're trying to state people who think Jacobs could be a B-Level fighter would have no other option than to vote for A-Level. What a weird, complaint that is.

    I'd like to see Jacobs vs Canelo.

    Personally I think Jacobs probably had the edge, but it's a good fight.

    So the only other option to A level is 'rubbish'? What a silly poll.

    Jacobs is a very good fighter. Elite? No. In grading terms he's just short of A level. B+ sounds about right.

    No. Jacob is the same fighter that was knockdown by a way feather fisted under 10 career OK of mora lolol. Jacob is a b level fighter at best. Also has anybody ever heard of style makes fights? Who to say Canelo wouldn't easily beat up jacob? I think he can cause Canelo would be the aggressor vs jacob and would beat up jacob badly. Jacob ain't a great fighter.

    Childish poll. You expect everyone that doesn't think Jacobs is A level to vote for the 'no he's rubbish option'? Id like to vote B level, as I'm sure many other people would. Nobody in their right mind thinks Jacobs is rubbish. Grow up.

    I'm not rearranging the poll just to please a few people who think he's not A-Level. If you think he's beneath A-Level, please by all means add your vote to the rubbish pile. I was never expecting this poll to be 100% in Jacobs favour. He does need to come crashing back down to earth abit.

    Who did he beat that makes him A level? GGG trashing him was a foregone conclusion before the fight even happened.

    His best win is a mentally weak Quilin which doesn't hold up any more. I haven't seen the fight , but i heard he just went life and death with 5'9 22-22-3 Dashon Johnson. He never beat a top 10 ranked MW Outside of Peter Q

    His power is also overrated. Couldn't drop glass chinned Quilin with 30 clean shots. Lee and N'dam both flattened Quillin with a single blow.

    I rated Jacobs as A level (what ever that means) before, during and after the GGG fight.

    I honestly don't put much faith on to what people rate fighters here at. Tends to be waay too much over-analyzation and inconsistencies.
