just seen a vid of diaz saying Ortiz never had a coach who was In command and diaz said he would not let Ortiz slack one bit

call me stupid but I feel with the right guidance and confidence In him he can be a major player I think diaz can be the guy to bring the best out of him remember he has natural talent he has power. So this comes to my point do you think Ortiz can comeback?

it doesn't matter who trains victor Ortiz be it eddie futch cus damato dundee whoever.the guy is mentally fragile he cant handle adversity.you shouldn't be boxing if your heart and mind are not in it.he should listen to de la hoya and retire.

Dude's a damn good trainer no doubt but his work pays off only when his fighters actually listen to him on fight night; i.e. Bradley in the Marquez fight but all that training went out the window in the Pac and Provo fights. Can't trust Ortiz anymore either.

Vic is the type of dude that lacks focus because he has so much **** outside the sport going on. The moment ODLH went on ESPN and declared Ortiz as "The future of boxing" prior to the Maidana fight Vic lacked the focus.

    He beloved his own hype.

A strong father figure like Diaz can't hurt tho, Why the **** not...

Not even the boxing gods can save Ortiz, I had high hopes for him also. He just has no drive to be better or to struggle when tough gets going. I give him a pass on the broken jaw but the Floyd and collazo fight were him just not wanting to be there.
