Do you think Jose Ribalta was on drugs when he fought Tyson?

I only posed this question because the shots he took from a prime Tyson was something I never seen before, especially against one of the hardest hitting heavyweights of all time. Tyson hit him with vicuous uppercuts and even hit him with an uppercut when his mouth piece wasn't in his mouth and he still took it and recovered well. If he wasn't on drugs, his chin is unbelievalble and so is his recupertive powers. BTW, when you wanna think of what Tyson would do to Vitiali Klitschko, watch this fight and this is a perfect blueprint of what he would of done but worst.

i was always pretty amazed how much punishment ribalta was able to take. Any of those shots could have KO'd a lot of top fighters.

Before Ribalta passed 30, the only boxer who starched him with a single punch was the monster-hitting Frank Bruno. He was well-conditioned, had a good chin and had learnt a lot of survival skills in sparring.

Not just ko any top fighter but Ribalta should of had a broken jaw. To me this was one of Tyson best Performances because he fought a guy that was tough, wouldn't wilt from his punches, fight back and Mike showed he could carry his powers in the later rounds. That fight looked strange, I personally think he was on something in that fight.

I know, that was crazy. He might have one of the best chins in history if he wasn't on drugs.

Here we go again. I am sick and tired of this "Tyson stopped [insert journeyman] in X rounds therefore he would KO Vitali in Y rounds". :tired

Nah that's just the reality, Tyson would slice thru Vitiali like a hot knife going thru butter. And if you don't think so, maybe you should watch what Tyson did against skilled athletic boxers with foot and hand speed that he dominated in his prime. And they were all tall fighters. Vitiali is too uncordinated and doesn't have enough boxing skills to beat Tyson. And neither does Vlad.

Love those shots he took starting at 1:32 on that video. Granite chin right there.

You can watch all the fights you want but either you can take a punch or not. That has nothing to do with your chin and he took some earth shattering punches.

Look at the shot he took at 2:08, he didn't even have a mouth piece when Mike hit him with that uppercut.

I agree with you, theres no need for the justification.

Prime Tyson would TKO or easily UD vitali.

Yeah, yeah the "skilled athletic boxers" who didn't do a sh*t are now in the same league as Vitali. Whatever.

I was always amazed by the uppercut that he took in round 2 that floored him.
