Manny never suddenly dramatically changed his body, gained an inordinate amount of punching power nor showed physical tell tale signs of steroid use. Marquez is about as obvious a case of steroid use I've seen since Barry Bonds was patrolling left field for the Giants. He's cheating his ass off and doing a poor job of hiding it, or he just doesn't care.

Oh yes he did. See the Conte quotes about Manny's physical changes. *******s overexaggerate their hypocritical views. For example, it's a myth that JMM was larger than Pac in their fourth fight. Scales don't lie.

    1) The famous ”big gut” or distended stomach

    2) Disproportionate development of upper body muscles

    3) Gynecomastia or ***** Tits

    4) Skin problems caused by steroid use

    5) Sudden increase in muscle mass after years of stagnation

Nope. If anyone here has done any type of fitness you know what benefits you get from getting stronger with the compounds movements.

    Hell no .

Anyone who says that is most likely still stinging from the harsh reality that Marquez forced Manny to take a nap .

He got caught and was snoring , deal with it . Its called BOXING .

Well...he's never failed a drug test. ;-) People can't have it both ways. If Juan is juicing, so is/was Manny. Both guys have beaten up bigger fighters, since moving up. And the same questions loom around both since that has been the case. Hell, look how even Manny became "converted" after Marquez put his head to bed.

Boxing needs to embrace better testing as the rule not the exception, and there would be fewer questions and probably fewer people weight jumping too.

Not saying either fighter is or is not juicing, but there is one crucial difference:

Manny was accused when he was 29/30 years old, prime physical age. Him performing as well as he did was astonishing, but well within acceptable limits. I can believe he did what he did through god given talent. The idea of PAC using PEDs wasn't ever brought up in any way, shape, or form until Floyd opened his mouth. Then all of a sudden it's gospel written in the bible. Could PAC have been using? Sure, he could, hell anyone could be. But again, nothing even alluded to this until the Mayweather camp accused him.

    I digress...

Marquez is 40, looking better than he's been since his mid 20's, punching harder than he's ever punched, sporting acne that he's never shown before.

Who looks more suspect? JMM actually shows more signs of juicing than any speculation or rumors of PAC ever did.

Can't really use age when a 49 year old Hopkins is boxing circles around many of these young LHWs. Mayweather at 37 is another physical marvel.

The Mayweather's speculative claims are a big part of the reason people questioned Manny back them. Manny refusing random testing is what really gave it teeth.

Similarly, the doping accusations went from a faint whisper to a loud scream after Mama Pacquiao's juju failed to keep her son from taking a deep sleep at the MGM.

Manny is a naturally gifted athelete. Marquez is not nearly as physically gifted. But, he has ATG level boxing acumen. Neither were KO artists or known as really heavy handed. But, they can punch. And BOTH carried up their power. Seems like both have employed some of the same "techniques" as they climbed the weight divisions. And both have passed the standard testing. So, same rules apply.

People seem to forget how Manny's physique, head size, and acne were used to make the same argument as the OP.

I certaintly wouldn't feel comfortable publicly accusing Juan, but if I was forced to bet a paycheck, I would have to bet yes.

Yes i think he was juicing but i don't care. I say if boxers and atheletes want to juice, let them. Its too much of a headache to police and they still find a way to take peds.

I don't know if JMM is juicing but let us go over the facts....

Marquez turned down VADA testing vs Bradley
Pacquiao turned down USADA testing to fight Floyd Mayweather.

Marquez has a trainer with PED history Hernandez
Pacquiao had/has a trainer with PED history Ariza and Roach

Marquez has physical signs of PED usage acne chest, shoulders and back
Pacquiao has physical signs of PED usage Protruding brow and jaw bone
