Do you think Khan could have taken the shots Guerrero took in the fight vs FMJ?

I think if Floyd can hurt Mosely and have people wondering why he didn't go for the KO, then he can definitely hurt Khan. Especially when Khan doesn't necessarily have a great defense to go with that legendary chin of his.

 

Floyds timing would surprise Khan, even the shot that knocked Guerrero's head back as early as the 2nd or 3rd would have troubled Khan. Khan wouldn't survive the right hands from the 8th round IMO. Too clean, too much variety, too much speed, too little resistance.

 

When he sits on his punches he hits plenty hard to KO a Glass Jawed fighter like Khan. Khan wouldn't go past round 4 once he is down Floyd would finish him.

Mayweather has pinpoint accurate punching also. It matters.

no. amir "chin" khan doesnt have the fire power to discourage floyd from coming forward either. it'd be a complete mismatch. ko in under 9 rounds.

 

He throws enough punches to disrupt someone who wants to box from throwing with power though.

Don't get me wrong I'm not ruling out the idea of a KO but I suspect Mayweather will be more focused on winning rounds than Ko'ing Khan.

 

What shots can Khan take?

I could see a Mayweather TKO1 tbh.. He is too accurate and Khan is way too easy to counter. Looked suprisingly sharp vs Guerrero

 

Freddie Roach Khan probably gets stopped between rounds 5-8 providing he has the conditioning of Ariza.
