Do you think Khan worked on his inside game with Joe Gallegher?

    Khan trained for about 2-3 weeks with joe before setting off to america, do you think he worked on his inside game, considering roach doesnt really teach him? aslo do you think gallagher fighters have a good inside game?

    I have no doubts Joe looked at this as a chance to shine and work with a world class fighter. So i suspect he did his best to work on inside work.

    Thing is fighting on inside is a mental as well as physical thing. You've got to have the want to fight there and enjoy it. It's hard to shake off the fear that Khan has of mixing it inside the pocket.

    Wasnt he just training at his own gym, which is also being used by Gallgher?

    2-3 weeks wouldn't really be enough to make much of a difference to his ability to fight on the inside.

    ye but he said he is starting camp with joe at his gym and would continue it with freddie.

    Given sparring like Quigg and Murray, I assume all Khan did was work on his inside game with come forward brawlers. Watching them box him would be embarassing.

    Khan will never be good on the inside. He'll never have an inside game, imo.

    Like Jay-Z said on public service annoucement. "No matter where you go, you are what you are playa, and you can try to change but that's just the top layer".

    doubt Khan did anything other than fitness stuff with Gallagher.

    Plus he'll never be able to fight going backwards either.

    Yeah, it's just not in the lads DNA. I'm sure it's not an oversight by Roach, I just think that Khan has no appetite for it, and whatever he is taught isn't put into practice because of his level of discomfort.

    Khan's inside game is tragic, he really needs to work on it if he's to be the elite fighter he thinks he is.
