Do you think Kovalev will look to kill Ward in the ring?

Kovalev did not lose the fight! SOB got his arse busted up, look at his face after the fight, then look at Kovalev's! Even SOB's fans booed the decision! Now SOB is trying to get out of the rematch, which he signed for! Kovalev will kill that piece of fecal matter, flush SOB down the toilet and back into the sewer from which he came................................Kovalev has no respect for SOB at all, he knows SOB can't punch hard enough to break an egg, that SOB counts on his personal judges, referee, boxing commission to cheat.............................SOB the fecal matter cheat.........................is WWE at best....................

Im a Ward fan and picked him to win the first fight. I thought he lost a close fight but could see how someone could have it for him. Kovalev is a scary dude. I think he wins the rematch.

 

He is probably going to go all out to kick that ass. Kov is a mean guy when angry. If the fight ever happens.

 

Being fair and square I felt Ward lost the 1st fight in my opinion and I like Ward a ton more than Kov. But as I always say there's no hypothetical wins for me Ward won, he's going to make the 2nd fight much harder to watch and will probably win that one as well. I expect to see Kov get dirty once Ward go back to his MMA tactics. Let's not act like Ward didn't try to go for a double leg take down in that first fight

 

You shouldn't compare Ward's defence to Whitaker's. Sweet Pea was a defensive genius whilst Ward is simply very effective. He's no slouch and knows how to bend the rules in his favour which allows him to dominate most opponents but I wouldn't put him on the same level of Pernell or above Mayweather who came in between them.

Oh and if you don't have a prob with Ward's mauling - I personally don't blame him for doing it but feel the refs need to do more about these kind of tactics across the board with everyone employing them - but made an issue of Calzaghe's punching style post him repeatedly breaking his hands then you need to accept you're a total hypocrite and quieten down. That's an observation and not directed at any one poster in particular.
