Lomachenko is the most fan friendly style of fighting currently at top level. 2 weight world champion, faced 8 fighters who have fought for or are former/current or future world champs all in his first 11 fights. Of course there are fans who go overboard but let's be honest that's part of the game, but Lomachenko deserves the hype and imo is a true boxing master. Considering people had Ward as the P4P 1 I would take Lomachenko, a true boxer over Ward's "style" of boxing any day of the week.
yes he does hes a stud. bs loss on his record . still bugs me . overweight and low blows all night . bad reffing n illegal tactics why loma lossed. loma was boxing under boxing rules, the ref an salido were on a differ set of rules
And it’s funny how idiots like him mention “Behind AK-47 Keyboards” yet the loser has brought up the WORST stuff in this forum trying to talk like a bad ass and thinking he’s funny... BEHIND A KEYBOARD. Lol As for the thread topic... Loma deserves even more hype He’s great for the sport and is a good dude.
Why wouldn't you like him when he bursts onto the scene with record breaking which none of the greats have come close to with style and skill previously unknown in boxing. I have never seen a boxer who can float around the ring like Peter Pan and have total knowledge and control over what he can do and what his opponent can't do 100% of the time. He really should be dna tested to make sure there's no alien in him.
Yes he's worthy of hype and praise he's currently the best boxer in the sport. I think he beats anyone in the world 130 and down and possibly even 135 and down with the only exception being Garcia which is a pick em fight IMO.
The most skilled boxer ever wouldn't lose to a 12 loss fighter like Salido who was seen as past his best when they fought. You're doing other greater boxers a disservice when you make post like this.
Just a couple great boxers here Ali was in all sorts of trouble against Cooper, and they cut his glove to give him more time. One of SRR's hardest fights was early in his career against McIntire, who had quite a number of losses. Bernard Hopkins lost his first fight against a total no hoper. Sam Langford started his career with many ups and downs. Close early career losses don't say much, certainly not the way Salido vs Lomachenko went.
He's not more skilled than those guys. To say so is ridiculous. Pea Whitaker Duran Greb Pep Moore I could go on and on.
I was commenting on the loss to Salido thing. It gets brought up at any moment to dish Lomachenko, while everyone saw what happened there and how green he was.
No other boxer in history fought a dirty experienced B level fighter in their 2nd pro fight, anyway Loma was robbed + Salido hit him with 40 low blows in that fight, Loma came in with an amateur mindset that the fight will be clean and he wasn't ready for dirty tactics, stfu please you haven't got a clue. Mayweather started fighting this quality of opposition 26 fights in.
Loma is 16-1 with a fantastic amateur record. He deserves the hype, but its time to start fighting the best available opponents. I don't care to see Arum's selective matchmaking. Loma is far too talented to be protected.
