I did have him losing close. I call it fair I thought he beat de la Hoya and maidiana so I'm not hating I was just saying Floyd wasn't facing elite level fighters in his second fight. Can't compare the situation. Talk soon big hands

People forget Floyd at his lighter weights was a monster puncher and technician who developed to be an accurate and efficient shooter who maintained his ground (in its majority). Lomachenko is an even more masterful technician ... however I highly doubt he'll enjoy floyds longetivity due to his super athletic and cerebral style

 

Loma called the shots to step up. As for the Point Loma stepped up to fight for a world title in his 2nd pro bout (not including wsb) to say Floyd wins that fight in his 2nd bout is trolling but you know that, to find out who's better why don't you just ask your mom who has the bigger hands lmao. Exactly. Floyds second fight was against Reggie Sanders who ended up being 12-47. And he didn't even stop that scrub.

 

They both look like goats when up against fighters who give them space and time to do what they want and can have trouble against certain pressure fighters.

"raw" talent, maybe, Total overall talent developed from hard work and dedication? i don't believe so, loma still has a long way to go and is still improving though, but Iv'e not come across another fighter that has mastered the sweet science like floyd, I can see how his style appears boring to many people especially the later half of his career , Loma looks more exciting he takes more risks, Floyd literally takes NO risks, He doesn't care if you think hes boring, he cares about getting the W and that is an ART that takes extreme self discipline and patience, you have to put your ego aside, knowing the fans want you to take risks, want you to loose your composure, want you to get drawn into a fight, floyd literally dose what he wants and will not be swayed by anybody else no matter how much pressure is put on him.

I totally see how people hate floyds style and call it boring, but for me its simply fascinating because i understand it completely and it fascinates me how nobody is able to lay a glove on the man. The guy is a defensive genius

 

I don't see why people are comparing Floyd and Loma so much.

They ultimately boxed in different eras, Floyd is not coming back. They also have a different style and their careers had different concepts.

Loma is an unique fighter, he does things his way. The reason why he lost to Salido is because he's one of the rare (if not the only) ATG-level fighter who would fight such guy in his second fight. That would be like Joshua fighting Chisora or even Povetkin in his second pro fight.

 

Lomachenko and Floyd are both wizards. That said the simple answer is no and Lomachenko will never reach Floyd's heights in boxing or success. Just the truth of the matter. Anthony Joshua has already surpassed all the players of this generation and Floyd himself would still be a top draw today over most.

 

They're pretty on par if I'm being honest, but Floyd at 130 put on some spectacular performances One as an underdog to Corrales which was highly impressive! I've seen Loma look very good at 130, but I can't say he's looked spectacular yet... so in that regards, I have to say no.
