Do you think Lomachenko will be an all time great at Feather or lightweight?

When was the last time boxing had a #1 pound for pound fighter, seeking out the best man for his next fight? If he's unavailable, Lomo will take #2 and if he's busy #3!

Unlike Mayweather, and to an extend even Roy Jones, Lomo doesn't avoid anyone! For Lomachenko, he doesn't care if a fighter has a style that might work against his skill set. He doesn't care if they are a puncher either. He doesn't push fights back to " wait for his opponent to age" nor does Lomachenko target once great fighters on the decline.

His mantra is, Give me the best, and give it to me now! And he's all action and very fan friendly to watch.

Just imagine how good boxing would be if the other champions followed suit.

At this point, I've seen enough of his skills, and think he will qualify for an all time top 15 spot at featherweight, and possibly lightweight if/when he moves up.

Lomachenko is a TBE level fighter at 126/130 IMO, not sure I'll be able to say the same at 135 however as he is only 137lbs on fight night. He'd be ATG level but not TBE level at 135.
Yeah, if he beats Corrales, Salido, Vargas, Davis and Gamboa, he'd be in contention for GOAT at 130.

I think 130 will be the weight for him, but who knows really? He's a superb fighter and i'm very interested to see how it pans out.

He passes the eye test for sure, he reminds me of Sweat Pea but with more offensive dynamics.

People had the same opinions on Jeff Fenech early in his career. About five years in, though, his dominant performances began to taper off. Still got to the Hall, though.

He's possibly already an ATG based on his Olympic career. I'm not sure "amateur" boxing even exists these days at that level. There are too many mature experienced full-time boxers fighting Olympic style bouts, with plenty of support around them.

But, anyway, give him a chance to start "cherry picking". If he becomes a big name in the way Roy Jones Jr. or Mayweather were, maybe he'll see the sense in taking the easier fights.

Lomo is special. Usually, the very quick and skilled fighters with defense at any weight don't hit as hard, have the courage to in-fight, or his punch output / punch variety.

Chin seems iron at his weight. Footwork is among the best...ever.

No one has been moved so fast as a professional. He ducks no one. I'm impressed

The only question mark from me about whether he'll attain ATG status at a particular weight or not is how long he'll stick around in any one class. Beyond that, I don't care if it's too aggressive a claim to hop on the bandwagon for him being an overall ATG talent now- I'm on board, and I'm confident time will vindicate that.

if were talking about if he could compete with the top level featherweight of all times I don't think so
he has a style that is unique and he has mastered these incredible moves that make him seem fantastic witch he is, he took the most dangerous feather weight around and spanked him. but Nicholas walters isn't an azumah nelson or a Salvador sanchez or a pep or a saddler
these men are fighting geniuses they mastered there craft just as good or better than vasyl
I think its to early in his career to start judging him with the all time greats
I think he takes most of if not all the people today with ease. his boxing career is going to be an interesting and exciting one

Well he has the burden of Salido hanging over him.

This is a man who Marquez and Gamboa were able to cleanly defeat. Also a man who Cruz and Garcia were able to defeat.

Salido is world class but limited and given that he's been figured out by others it does raise question marks about Lomachenko's ability to adapt.

I expect him to beat Salido in a rematch but we have to wait an see if that comes to fruition.

I do think he can become an ATG fighter but it means him cleaning house at SFW against the likes of Corrales, Vargas, Miura, Salido, Frampton, LSC, Mares and then having a big fight at LW against however is number 1 at that point.
