Guy got his picture took but he's still young and has plenty of talent. Do you think Jermell could repeat their first outing or do you think in time Lubin could beat him in a rematch?

I don’t think so. Either way, I don’t think we’ll ever see the rematch. No matter what Lubin does, Charlo and his team will state their desire to move forward to bigger and better things. That’s just the state of the game in today’s zero defect mentality world.

Yea you got a point, one could dream though. I was pulling for Lubin to pull it off and got kind of bummed he came up short. Especially HOW it went down.

I’d like to see a rematch if Lubin keeps winning
Charlo has Hurd and Munguía problems

The Charlos are for real. When are people going to start realizing that.

Tbh I think he is ruined, 1 light punch put him to sleep.

Can't see him.ever earning a shot @ Charlo again. The will only fight again if Charlo has a few losses and Lubin faces a few journeyman to pad his record.

Who did he beat to earn his shot anyway?

Munguia will knock both Hurd and Charlo out if they ever fight........................Golovkin will knock out the other Charlo......................if Jacobs doesn't do it first!

Lubin's young. Finding out whether the first fight was a fluke isn't worth the potential damage to his psyche he'd be risking if it turns out it wasn't. Charlo's the real deal irrespective of luck.

A lot of young prospects cast as superstars before they've earnt it have had to travel the path he's now on. It's a marathon, not a sprint.

With that said, the sh|t slinging on twitter isn't a good sign of the maturity needed to use the loss as fuel for improvement. If he's not careful, a couple of decent wins could make the rematch viable, but ill-advised imo.

If Jermall beats Jacobs, I'll admit he's the real deal

I don't see the need for a rematch. One punch, and Lubin's legs were twitching like a roach that got sprayed with Raid.

Lol no. Maybe in 4 years. He shows fundamental flaws that should get ironed out with more experience. Either that or he stays at this level and fades into obscurity from getting picked apart because of his mistakes.

He doesn't even deserve a rematch at this point. How he melted, for the
rest of his career everyone is gonna just try to wade in and test his chin.
He needs to work on his defense, he's gonna need it.
