Manny vs Rios will do somewhere between 700,000 and 850,000 PPV sales.

The only thing that may keep the PPV sales lower then expected is Mannys American Filipino fanbase donating their money to the victims of the recent typhoon disaster instead of buying the Manny fight which would be the right thing to do but then again it may work the opposite way in that they all come together for Manny who in many ways symbolizes the Philippines to the rest of the world.

IF this fight is PPV in China then it will generate like 12.1 million buys.

China is up for the event, it's something new for them and one of their 's is participating. I think it's gonna be huge. If it wasn't for China, the numbers would be a great deal lower.

I think allot of people overestimate how much Chinese people like guys from Philippines including Manny.

They consider them maids/drivers/gardeners and a lower class.

Source - I live in Hong Kong, going to the fight and there are a ton of tickets available - although online they may seem sold out, there will be a record amount of comps.

 

Since in China- lots of buys for of course, cheap price that will equate to a 500 k PPV event here in America. Official numbers will never be released anyways.

The revenue they're targeting is not PPV here, Arum himself has said that holding the fight outside of US is gonna hurt PPV. Name me a fight outside of US that has even done over 500k PPV? The money is coming from billionaire casino owners in Macau and some ppv buys from China. Dodging 25% tax also helps.
