Do you think Margarito will someday be forgiven just as Mosley was?

It seems that many are willing to turn a blind eye\ear to transgressions committed by some, but not all. IMHO GUILTY IS GUILTY!!!!

There are no grey areas when a boxer is cheating.

You can say that since he wasn't caught on the spot, it doesn't count. But that is total BS!!!!

CHEATING IS CHEATING - It doesn't matter if you did it last month, last year or ten years ago.

 

Margarito never will be forgiven. Whether Mosley used steroids or not, to put something in your glove to cause more damage is unforgivable in boxing. That is the one thing boxing will not stand for. Margarito's image is forever damaged. I don't even think they should have let him box again.

 

who exactly is the "boxing" that wont stand for it? it cant be the fans because you can see its just as divided as before mosely. it cant be the sports execs because it sounds like he will fight again. if you mean they wont stand for him fighting for a year then maybe you have a point.

 

Yea he'll be forgiven. And the CSAC already forgave him because they only suspended him for 1 year. So you do the math.

I'm not here to argue but anyone loading there gloves like that or attempting it would be banned for life and been brought up on criminal charges.

How am I not direct?, my last post to you can't be more direct. I never claimed that when a cheater admits to cheat he should get a pass, where the hell did I say that or hint to it?, you're just being delusional putting words in my mouth claiming you have me figured out.

Let me repeat again regarding THIS TOPIC. One guy has been caught TRYING to cheat and was suspended for it and the other guy has been accused of cheating years ago and they're still looking into his case and we DON'T HAVE AN OFFICIAL RESULT ON WHAT HIS FAITH WILL BE YET. So to make it simple and even more clear, I'd rather wait and see what result they come up with regarding Mosley so I would hold my breath before calling him a cheater till I see official results like I saw when Margarito was attending court and suspended.

 

You are right, though we have one guy caught and suspended for his effort and the other's case is still ongoing so let's not jump guns before we get an official result. If nothing comes out of it then it remains NOTHING and the discussion dies there with bull**** rumors and theories out of people's asses to make it look alive. Fact is, there are other people who make a living catching/suspending those and when these people are still looking into it then they are STILL LOOKING INTO IT. A fan browsing the website can't give a better conclusion than people who make a living giving conclusions and results regarding such cases.

the fact that you completely ignore the fact that shane admitted to cheating, whether he knew or not, is a huge clue that he is geting a pass from you. quit trying to spin.
one guy deserves the worst even if he denies knowledge of wrongdoing and the other deserves every protection under the law even though he admitted to doing wrong. come on man, i know it takes a lot for a man to admit he is not being completely fair and i have given you ample oportunity to do so. if you want to stick to your argument then ok, you are who you are.

He is damaged goods as far as his legacy is concerned.. I know his fans want to say it was nothing and he should be forgiven, but most boxing fans in general know that if you have something in your gloves which is going to hurt the other fighter and maybe hurt him badly, that the action is unforgivable. If you love boxing it is unforgivable. What is more important? The sport of boxing or the reputation of Antonio Margarito? The question is , did he use that stuff with Cotto? Or Cintron? Probably not but we are not sure. It throws his whole career into doubt.

 

i agree. what i dont undestand is how boxing will enforce its unforgiveness. boxing has slept with the mafia, fixed fights, stolen fighters money, scammed the public and still thrives on dishonesty. why would jeffrey dahmer not forgive charlie manson?

 

Mosley didn't admit he cheated, that article in your face says he took the stuff but didn't know it was illegal so that means he DIDN'T KNOW he was cheating. How does that compare with someone caught trying to load up his gloves and immediately suspended for it?

Where's the double standards?, if he did admit he cheated and got suspended/fined for it and I'm denying then sure you are right and you "have me figured out". That's hardly the case here and not even close.
