Floyd was only guaranteed 10 million for his fight with Marquez, but he was guaranteed $22.5 million for his fight with Mosely.

I don't think $5mill is too much to ask considering PAC is gonna make upwards of $20 mill. But this is business. JMM would be getting his CAREER high payday against PAC in a 3rd meeting even though it won't be what he wants ($5million), it's still a lot more than he's ever made in his career.

JMM needs to think smart.....I'm sure he knows winning against PAC isn't likely if he does secure the fight, but he shouldn't let greed overshadow opportunity. He could LOSE the OPPORTUNITY to get his career high PAYDAY b/c he thinks he deserves MORE money than what PAC and his team offered.....but Ariza is right in regards to "IF"....JMM really and honestly believes he can beat PAC then Take whatever offer was on the table.....b/c if he does beat PAC like he may believe the payday in the rematch could double or tripple.

If he prices himself out it looks as if he either doesn't want the fight, doesn't think he can win the fight or doesn't have the common sense to see money flying out the window by outpricing himself.

Better boxer maybe....but better fighter?:verysad nah....otherwise it would be JMM in PAC's position not the other way around.

Really? The only "W" either man has over the other is in the rematch where PAC walked away with the "W". The draw was a gift that JMM seemed to know he recv'd and avoided an immediate rematch with PAC only to lose his "title" to chris John for short money.

And yea.....Marg didn't win a round on PAC but JMM didn't fight the same verson of PAC that Marg was so unlucky to pitted against.

I can tell you are a *******. Do your research. Thats one of the myths *******s like to point to when in reality JMM took on 2 other fighters in between Pac and John and i forget the exacct figures but he made a little above 300K in those 2. Chris John was a terrible choice but hey when the Pac man runs he must find someone else to fight. Cant blame him for that.

Nacho or JMM....at the end of the day the immediate rematch didn't happen when Financially it made sense and due to the nature of the outcome it made sense. Who ever put their foot down and decided against the rematch is incredibly stupid business wise.

No one got pushed around during negotiations and a lot of fighters "THINK" they got robbed or "SAY" they did, but that in most cases is not the truth. $750K to take $30K is the only thing that is stupid.

    STFU NOOOOB!!!

Look at post 26 by Bandido. He clearly states Pac made 3 Mil for the Diaz fight.
Im not gonna bother looking for the article where right after the 2nd JMM fight GBP offered Pac 7 mil for the 3rd JMM bout. That is way more than he had ever made before and instead fought for the title Diaz was keeping warm for him being that Arum didnt even force him to face his mandatory Soto just because he knew Pac would strugle more with Soto than Diaz.

Pacs career has been carefully planned out to look great but the real fans that actually follow the sport as a whole know.
