Do you think Marquez Katsids fight was stopped too soon

They are some clear points, also 40 seconds left in the round, i believe katsidis got his legs back hence the left hook he landed and i believe marquez after throwing a one minute flurry of punches was tired. Katsidis was hurt but i believe he would of lasted out the 40 seconds.

Marquez is one of the best sharp shooters in the sport's history, and was landing EVERY shot he threw, with Kats head bouncing back and his legs wobbling, and Marquez cooly lighting him. Punching himself out?:-patsch

NO! There was nothing wrong with the stoppage. Kat was about 20-30 seconds away from getting knocked cold.

katsidis was done....he wasnt punching at all....or barely punching at that point of the stoppage....good call by the ref....

 

Slightly too early, Katsidis wasn't being hit as much as before, I'd rather have this stoppage than Katsidis on the floor face first.

 

He was done and there was a risk of permanent injury. You can't take flush shots to the head forever and he wasn't throwing back

It was stopped too soon only if you were hoping to see a brutal KO. For all intents and purposes the fight was over. Katsidis was 100% done and there was no way he could win the fight. That's why it was a good stoppage.
