.......or was his drug test excuse the first of many excuses he had lined up to throw at the public and he never had any intentions of actually fighting Pacman?

    Simple question.

I think he made up his mind after the Cotto fight. He got concerned after Hatton and then figured he'd wait to see what happened with Cotto.

Yes, Floyd intended to fight PAc, but PAc said the testing window was too close to the fight. Pac said **** 50/50 and 25 mil...I don't want to be tested too close to the fight as if he would be, and Floyd wouldn't.

 You know what, i think you got a point. Hatton had him a bit worried but the Cotto fight might've done it for him.

So what about the second time around when Pacman did agree to the test guidelines?

So are you saying that he intended to fight Pacman initially but now he doesn't want to?

No he didnt but the fight will most likely happen in the future cause theres just too much money to be made by both fighters.

I think he did at first. Its after Hatton that the Mayweathers first took notice. And then after Cotto then Pac became very risky. And this is when Floyd wished that Pac never went up in weight, bet he was hoping Pac would move back down to LW and stay there.

He came back and thought that beating JMM would indirectly equal beating Pac and would shut people but the media and the public wont let it die down and he was backed into a corner and now we have this mess.

I think the smartest thing he could have done was told the media that Pac should take care of 135-140 and hed take care of 147 up and that would have held up because there are other fighters out there for them to fight. But then he started talking trash and little guy Pac took the bait.

So Yes in the beginning and Hell No now. This fight aint happening folks.

Well, when the initial talks died with the lawsuit stuff, the talks were renewed. And Pacman's camp agreed to the test guidelines the Mayweather camp wanted and Mayweather suddenly disappeared and was on "vacation."

So as it stands, it's Mayweather that looks like the one avoiding the fight. I know it hurts you but it's the truth.

I'm going to give a couple of you *******s a clue as to why many posters don't respect what you have to say about boxing. Fighters have a different mentality than fans. Fighters don't get scared of fighters when they see fighters/peers ko'd. To think that Floyd saw PAc flatten Hatton and then stop Cotto, and all of a sudden become afraid of Pac is utterly ridiculous lol...

What bothers me about what you said is what was wrong with the first negotiations? Second, how is it that everyone but uncle Rog and Floyd heard about these socalled 2nd negotiations when Floyd Jr knew that his uncle would have to come before a judge lol...

Thats not true at all, Tyson basically scared to death half of the heavyweight division. All these guys from Biggs to Spinks to Stewart were all there for the money. Just go watch the videotape, especially the Seldon one. Its ****ing fright night out there, everyone of them petrified but you have to give them respect, they still did it for the "money".

Floyd money may wouldnt do it to uphold his monicker.
