mayweather is tough imo, the guy got a solid chin but thats also because he has excellent defense and didn't got hit too much
No noob, you don't know what the **** you're talking about. Mayweather was a good superfeather that turned into a greedy coward or a punk ***** whichever you prefer. The biggest waste of talent the sport has ever seen:deal
Forgive him, he thinks Wiliams can KO Margarito then calls him a ***** for not fighting him a SECOND time. atsch
I think most pro fighters you would have to put in the 'tough' category, arguablly the toughest sport isn't the place for the faint hearted.
Fought Hernandez with a broken hand Fought Castillo with broken ribs and a broken hand Fought Baldomir with a broken hand Each time he toughed out the win
First off, Mayweather did great things for the sport. He prompted the sport, became a household name, beat ALL boxers who stood in front of him. Waste of talent don't think so, he did what he had to do for himself and for that we cannot be mad at him. He entertained us when he was around. Waste of talent? No way!
Yea your right man that Baldomir fight was full of fireworks. Watch that fight 5 times in a row and see if you don't jump out of the nearest window
The simple answer is yes. This really isn't even debateable. You don't achieve what Floyd has in his line of work if you're not tough. His mental and physical toughness are two of his biggest attributes.
good thread! I dont think we will ever know how tough Floyd really is.... even in the hatton fight.... after watching it live i thought he toughed it out for 7 rounds but on repeated viewings you can see he is just in his comfy zone most of the night tying up Rickys hands, and Floyd didnt get hit with anything to note the whole night. the fact that he is 5 weight world champion, the names hes shared the ring with, added to the fact hes never been truly troubled just highlights what a boxer Floyd is!
Typical: We are running out of ways to criticize and bash Floyd...****! Well he has never really been beaten up in the ring so we can still go with the "He's not tough" angle
