The funny thing about this 'rumor' is this has to be the most info laden 'rumor' ever. Within this 'rumor' is more meat than any random accusation the Mayweather clan ever cooked up about Pacquiao, yet here we are witnessing people defend Mayweather, GBP and USADA on the backfoot. But they had no problem whatsoever running with 'rumors' before. Again, if this Thomas Hauser expose were directed at Top Rank, and mentioned Pacquiao, the dismissive attitudes from these expedient mouth breathers would be few and far between. Hilarious
can you answer one question that cormega refuses to answer? what did USADA claimed to be their advocacy and their priority? to help with having any sporting events free of illegal PED users or to help themselves get some funds from promoters?
Does any Mayweather-fan here prefer Floyd, USADA or GBP to clear those supposed multiple positive test results over this sielence? Would you agree that this extra testing has turn out to be bad for the sport?
the extra testing, without a central governing agency to handle out punishments is like a paid stamping pad for these promoters and fighters who wants to be seen as a clean fighter. they could actually request USADA to test them repeatedly even if they faied (as in the morales' case) and still give them a passing mark as long as they are paying for them. i'm talking specifically of USADA here since VADA is more strict and would not easily change their protocols upon request.
He did. The USADA's advocacy ends right up to the limits of their contract. You appear to confuse the USADA's role with that of the state commissions. The same commissions, BTW, whose protocols and testing plans many here were more than comfortable with only 2 years ago.
I don't necessarily believe Floyd is doping....but I wouldn't be telling the truth if I were to say that the story is NOT intriguing. Think of the marginal heat Pac was faced with when Floyd and his team blasted how Manny is on PEDs. There weren't any smoking guns....there weren't any rumors, cover ups or stories circulating about Pac failing drug tests...yet there were some who believed it based on nothing more than an opponents own belifes or fears. Imagine if this story broke, but at the center of it was Manny and not Floyd. The reaction would be even more aggressive by the media and fans alike. Floyd definitely should address the story like Manny did. Immediately is no longer an option and the longer they wait, the worse the damage will be. Or....purse legal actions like Manny was able to successfully able do after Floyd and members of his family began with their accusations.
You're active; Do you want it to be exposed if positive samples were destroyed? yes or no? /writers exposed who faked the story up?
i would try to help you. here is the link to their site: http://www.usantidoping.org/ they state that they want to preserve the integrity of the competition. how the hell could they preserve it when they enter into a contrat with a promoter, follow whatever protocol those promoter wants and withold testing results to the public and even to the commissions?
It's odd....not sure and can speculate, but I'd rather formulate my final opinion after hearing from Floyd. If we don't hear anything from Floyd then it's not going to look good.
I don't know option would have been good. But who knows anymore. He has acted quite fishy at times. I always like to think NO... but i always have a suspicion... I can't with certainty say Mayweather or Pacquiao was using steroids. Although, It's interesting this is much closer than the Pacquaio poll.
