Do you think Mosley is still a top 10 PFP fighter.

Not anymore. But he'll easily come back if he win in his next decent fight.

Three fights in three years going 2-1

...time to exit the P4P top ten I think. Ring Magazine REALLY need to sort their lists out.

I voted yes, but there when I actually wrote down a top10, he wasn't in it.

Pac, PBF, Ward, JMM, Williams, Martinez, Donaire, Dawson, Vitali, Wlad, Bute, and even Cotto are all fighters I would rank above Mosley, p4p.

Well JMM didn't drop out and was dominated the same way, but it was Floyd. Floyd is number #1 P4P by most, so its no shame in that.

actually, Pacquiao is p4p #1 by most. Floyd is only #2

anyways, JMM didn't drop out because when he lost to Mayweather he was at a huge size disadvantage. 2 division difference. Mosley and Mayweather are the same size.

Shane could still make it technically and strategically competitive against Margarito and Mayweather ( before getting dominated but still making 12 rounds with him), not to mention Cotto of course. Man, I believe either JMM and Shane Mosley would beat very high rated welterweights and light-welterweights if they were to face them instead of Mayweather, and that should tell something about where they still deserve to stand in ratings.

erm..... problem is when most fighters take this sorta beating they are ever the same and I've never seen mosley be dominated like that so I don't know how I'll rate him I wouldve had him like NO.5 before the mayweather fight now say between NO.8-12.

at that point i think he could beat all other WW's

but I don't see him coming back well after this:hat

Yes, I think so. I think he would have beaten any other welterweight the night against Floyd except for maybe Pacquiao. But apparently to most Mosley got shot after round 2 which is the first mid-fight-become-shot fighter I've ever seen. If he were to look terrible in his next fight, I'd drop him from the rankings, but losing to the best doesn't get you dropped. Especially when you had him in arguably the most trouble in his career.

SO When Pac losses to Floyd in a Much worse fashion would Pac still be voted top 10 P4P?

pure speculation, we will have to wait & see what happens, as for Mosley, he was a legit P4P fighter 10 yrs ago, but as of now , he is a near 40 yr old who has been in decline for the last 5 years.

he'd definitely go down a few notches but it would be inconclusive at this point to write him out of the top 10 rankings by solely basing it on his most recent bad performance. At least not just yet...

hopefully he gets to fight soon and against a ranked WW to see whether or not he's truly shot...

Mosley is 8-6 in his last 14 fights. He is not a top 10 P4P fighter, nor was he when he entered the ring against Floyd at 8-5 in his previous 13 fights. The Margarito performance was grossly misleading, and Mayweather only did to an old Shane what the late Vernon Forrest did to a prime version almost a decade ago. Mosley is probably barely a top 5 welterweight now.

Unlike you, I actually watch boxing, Mosley has looked bad since 05, he looked bad against Estrada, Cruz, Collazo, Cotto and Mayorga. His best fight in that time period was his rematch with Vargas at 154, followed by his beatdown of club-fighter Margacheato, 3 fights in 3 years against Mayo, Margo and Floyd, going 2-1.
