No Mosley isn't still a top 10 pfp guy. I think he was a little too high going into the Mayweather fight with most having him top 3-4, I figured he was towards the lower end of the top 10 and having lost all but 1-2 rounds to Mayweather should push him out of the top 10 but still top 15. His Margartio win was very good but he's been relatively inactive and is clearly on the slide. Now if he can knock off another significant opponent next than I could see him getting back in.

 

Mayweather made both fighters look the same no matter what the size difference was.

How much was the weight difference between Mayweather and Marquez by the way PH|LLA?

 

I probably wouldn't drop him from the top 10 completely on the basis of one fight, but that's just a gesture to Shane for all his years in the p4p rankings. I'd leave him in the lower half out of respect, because after all he was beaten by the p4p#2, it wasn't as if a nobody beat him, but considering how Shane looked in the fight with Floyd, I think he has nothing left except his punching power, and I thoroughly expect him to lose his next fight if it's against another top fighter, and then he will be dropped from the top 10 for good.

Margarito was clearly shane best win in 3 years, and should have made him the man at welter weight..

 

No. I still have him in my top 10. A loss doesn't mean you get kicked out of the top 10. When JMM lost, I only dropped him a couple of spots, it's a bit different, because I and others gave JMM little shot to win, but anyway I still have Mosley in the top 10.

It was his best performance, he was light on his feet, throwing combos and looked like he had turned back the clock. Margacheato is nothing more than clubfighter built up by Arum to discredit Mayweather, Shane was flatfooted and didn't throw the combos but luckily Margacheato was exposed as a fraud before the fight. BTW Floyd was already the man at WW since he had beaten the legit champ in Baldo.

this is mostly true. I remember betting on Collazo by decision thinking Mosley had been looking shot and I might as well take a stab at it cause you never know when father time will show up. Turned to be a terrible bet but it wasn't a big one.

Mosley didn't look bad against Collazo though. He was good.

 

Yeah he won in good fashion but he didn't look nearly as fast or explosive in there, i think 2000 Mosley would've stopped him quite easily IMO.

 

Anyone who doesn't give Mayweather full credit and praise for whooping Pac is a hater pure and simple, as for Mosley it was a good win, but thats all it was, some on here act as if this was the super version of Mosley and not the near 40 yr old version.

 

I love the guy but no. His position has held because of past achievements. Are we really meant to believe that there aren't 10 other fighters in the world in any weight class who are better?
