Do you think Ortiz really did break his jaw, or did he want a way out?

    I was pissed watching the fight and wasn't scoring more just enjoying the fight.

    I must admit i thought Ortiz may have been down on the scorecards as the fight was stopped will have to re-watch

    His jaw was broken and yes, that's certainly sufficient reason to withdraw from a fight or any sort of athletic contest.

    My issue with Ortiz is the fact that he seemed to unravel a bit when it became apparent that Lopez wasn't going away and the flagrant rabbit punches to the back of the head that he threw in the middle portion of the fight. So while I don't think it's fair to criticize him for withdrawing from the fight, the fact remains that he did revert to the same filthy (and potentially dangerous) behavior that he's used in the past when faced with adversity.

    So...A bit of both is probably the most accurate way to answer this question.

    Ive always thought this and some of the shots he got caught with last night were way harder than the one Mayweather "KO'd" him with
