Ya, I know PAC flored him 3 times in the first round and breaking his nose.
But on the other hand he was not able to finish him and having such big round (10-7, 10-6, 10-6)
he was clearly outboxed the rest of the fight (3-7) ending with draw only.

    No.
JMM is a very classy fighter and exposed some flaws in Pac but he still lost the decision in my eyes and in the eyes of a lot of people.

Thats the closest schooling Ive ever seen if it was one.

He wasn't schooled, but he was outboxed. All in all, it was a close fight (I had Pacquiao winning 114-111) that could have gone either way and a fight that needs to be seen again.

What are you are up to again?

You very well know that Pac has problems in that fight. Once posters responds and mnetion these things . . . it's gonna end up . . . as if they are making excuses. right?

To answer your question "NO" . . . that was a give and take affair after the second round and A 100% Pac could have knocked JMM out.

I sincerely thought that Marquez had a great recovery after the 1st round and won the rest from there.

You know what? I've been reading most of your threads, and it seems you have an obssession with Pac..:hey

    Anyway, for the question.

Nope. He was not schooled. His power punch was somehow neutralized in the midrounds, but never he was dominated.

And when you say schooling, it means dominating.

Was he dominated? What do you think?

If not for the first round, Marquez would have won but the first round happened and Pacman won that one big. Which made it a very close fight.

It was a great performance by both guys. A rematch needs to happen. We've been waiting FAR too long for this rematch.

I don't really understand, If there was a draw it means Marquez won around 7 from the latest 11 rounds.
So that wasn't even close. I'm not saying that he completely make PAC his ***** but
at this level winning 7-4 is more than outboxing for a few rounds. Its mean he outboxed PAC
for 2/3 of the fight (with broken nose) which clearly may be considered as he schooled him.

JMM is one of the best p4p fighters and Pac fought him in his prime

also, Pac only ended up with a draw cause one of the judges scored the first round 10-7 when according the rules, that round must be scored 10-6

    no, definately wasn't schooled

imagine if there were a three KD rule, Pac would have a KO1 win over JMM.

anyways in the end there isn't a 3KD rule, and the judge made the mistake he made, so that D is there to stay, but there's no way in hell he was schooled.

i remember drinking about a 5th and a half of jack that night.. when marquez went down i jumped out of my seat .. being drunk wasnt even a factor .. i was like holy **** dad hes gonna get ko'd! .. marquez goes down agian!.. holy **** hes down! .. damn !...then i remembered being pissed because i thought what should have been a war was going to beover before it started....

next thing you know...its the 8th round..im drunk agian.. and the battle is going back and forth ..

it was a close razor close fight.. pac landed his game and so did marquez .. but for the most part pac shot his load way too early .. great fight!

JMM out technique Pac. Some say JMM won every round after the 3rd round. Even though JMM outbox Pac(as in out technique), Pac was throwing a lot of punches. I watched the fight about 3x already and both threw about the same amount(or close to it) of punches. In some rouns, Pac threw and conneted more, with the other rounds favors JMM. So the rounds 3 to 10 cound have been split. Just look at the judges, one favors JMM, one to Pac, the other a draw. U guys know about that judge, 10-6 should have been the score in the 1st round instead of 10-7. This favors a split decision to Pac.

Look at the HBO crew also:
Lederman, scored it 115-110 for Pac
Merchant, a close decision for Pac
Lampley, well, he doens't really say anything who he thinks won a fight.
Steward, well, Steward he does not say also, but in my jmpression of his commentaries, he looks like he favors JMM as the winner. Not sure, just an impression.
So, i say split decsion by HBO crew for Pac.

JMM out technique him, not school him. If somebody schooled Pac, i have to say Erik Morales. It might be a close decision, but he unanimously defeated Pac.

    And that is all.
