You don't understand why it was a draw? It was officially a draw because one judge erred in his scoring, and admitted it. That's why. If not, there would have been a new champ then.

    What was your score btw?
Can you break it down? Round per round?
I had it I think 6-6, or to favor JMM, 7-5, for him. Certainly not a schooling in any stretch of imagination.

You have to factor the 1st round scoring, and then, even at 7-5, Pac won or it was a draw.

In the end, it was a close, great fight that I guess the draw was the right decision, so that a rubbermatch should decide who was the better fighter.

Hmmmm, "out technique him" .. I didn't know that such term even exists,
is that college talking for "schooled him"?

As for judges scoring. the final score was somthing like 113-113 115-110 110-115.
It means that one of the judges scored the rest of the rouds like close 6-5 for PAC,
one of them 7-4 for Marquez and one 10-1 for Marguez.
So it was either close fight, PAC was clearly outboxed or fight
was complete shout out in favour of Marquez.

im a fan of both guys, but it's not like jmm swept the 2nd-12th rounds. based on memory i'd say pac won a couple of the mid and last rounds too. was he getting outboxed in some rounds through the fight? certainly. but he was'nt getting dismantled ala lacy either.

Well, you right he didn't lose the whole fight case he flored Marquez, nobody is taking this from him.
The question is what do you see the fight if you take the first round out.

in the end, looking at who was the best fighter over the entire 12 rounds of the fight, it was Pacquiao.

Looking at who was the better fighter over the last 11 rounds only, it was Marquez

    yes.

after the second round, pacman didnt land anything of significance while jmm was landing every punch in the book. most of pacs punches were jabs thrown to set up his left but it never landed.

ask pacmans wife who won the fight, or just look at her face.:yep

No. Cuz Pac was still going straight and throwing and landing punches. Pac won some rounds 6-12. Also, i counted at least 5 low blows in that fight by JMM. The first time i watch it, i had Pac winning 7-5, 2nd time 6-6, and the 3rd time, still 6-6. So its a draw with out the knockdowns.

Only a rematch can settle the draw.

Flat NO. Pac won a close and debatable one. JMM got too much credit for getting up from the 1st round. Aside from the midrounds which he dominated pretty fairly, the rest of the reounds had been close with the latter rounds arguably going to Pac.

If both their subsequent fights are any indication, Pacman won the first encounter. Poetic justice.

A rematch should be made sooner than later to end these endless partisan debates...

You can't KO what you can't catch. CJ was running for the greater part of that fight and with that big ass ring it was easy. JMM got robbed that day and you know it.
