Do you think PAC will inflict the worst beating ever on Miguel Angel Cotto?

Naahhh... I voted "YES" mainly based on PAC's history of dissing out worst beatings as stated in the very first post of this thread...

As what I've said earlier, IMO there's a possibility that PAC can turn Cotto's face into a bloody ugly mess in a few rounds... That could be uglier and sooner than what Margcheat did to Cotto... Just my opinion tho...

I wouldn't be shocked if Pac beat him badly, I don't think it would be as bad as what he took against Margo. Margo literally broke him, Pac aint doing that, he would finish him before he broke him.

Either finish early or break down later, it can still be a worst beating... PAC finished Hatton early and it's brutal.... PAC broke down Barrera, Morales, Diaz, Hoya and it's agonizing....

Pacquiao never "inflicted a beating" on JMM you mug. JMM got caught cold in the first round and came back to lopsidedly outbox Pac for the rest of the fight.

I don't see how Cotto can win this. It would be a gigantic upset IMO.

I think PAC will be more dominating than Marg, but won't inflict the kind of damage that Marg was able to do as a bigger, stronger man than PAC. But Cotto won't win more rounds than he was able to win against Marg.

Where's the option for cotto inflicting the most punishment to pac? Any educated boxing fan can conjure up a solid argument supporting either fighters ability to lay out an ass whipping. I think way to many so called boxing scribes are falling into a casual fans trivial rationale when examining this bout. I have the same exact feeling I had when the shane vs margo fight was announced, I'm not saying the same result will come to frutition but I am saying plenty of people will be shocked by the result of this fight. Conventional thinkers will almost involuntarily pick pac to destroy mr. Cotto fortunantly for me I'm as unconventional as the genocide infused crimminal that inisited the world was round.

Pacman will beat him, but not like Margarito.

Barrera was not prime, when Pac fought him. Yes, he was 29, but that is not young in the lighter weight divisions by any stretch of the imagination. And at 29 years old, Barrera had already been a pro for 14 years, because he (like many mexican fighters) turned pro very young age, @ 15 years old!

I seriously dont know. Cotto has the tendency to hit them grapes when in dire straits just to stop an opponent's momentum.

I could see Pac winning but through a hard-fought decision or late tko.

And Manos de Piedra (er, Plaster de Paris) should not be mentioned in relation to this two warriors as Margie's "win" over Cotto will forever be shrouded in doubt and disgrace..

Broke as I don't think Cotto is the same fighter since that beating. The Cotto that beat Mosley would have beating Clotty more convincingly, I'm not taking anything away from Cotto but I think Clottey lost that fight more than Cotto won it. And don't come in here telling me Clottey is a good fighter either, I know that, I'm just saying.

Cotto isn't the same fighter mentally as he was before the Margo fight.

Maybe. Margarito was a bad beating but Cotto took a knee before Margarito could finish him off. It could have been worse so ...

No but I believe it will get brutal for Cotto towards the end.

margo beat cotto's face to pulp. pac potentially can cut his face and knock him down, but only after a long and tough fight.

physically and emotionally, thats not as bad as what margo did. pride wise and career wise, waking up after being dropped by a smaller guy could be his retirement. hard to pick which is worse, apples and oranges i guess.

cotto is wise playing hardball in their negotiation. it could be his last.
