This is a thread that only a ***** can concoct!!!!!!

    It is dumb and foolish.

It is like asking if Mayweather can outbrawl Pac?

Considering that neither actually are jabbers.

He doesn't have to. He has never really relied on his power to KO his opponent/s in order to wins his fights.

The only one who isn't a Jabber is Manny. Floyd doesn't throw his jab constantly like other jabbers do, but he's still listed on the list of Boxers who landed the most jabs per rounds and the most accurate one.

    Floyd can outbrawl Pac

no. the decider is pac's ability to close the distance.

the advantage on reach for floyd is given, of course he is going to exploit.

its on pac to overcome that because he has the ability to do so.

with floyd-marquez, reach was the decider. marquez, being a counter puncher, has no built in ability to go after (closing the distance) his opponents.

As i said, Manny would need to be dependent on landing his power punches at a consistent basis for 12 rounds in order to beat Floyd if he doesn't have the option to beat him by KO/TKO. Manny needs to land 200+ power punches to get it done, but it'd be difficult to do so since Floyd has the ability to limit his opponents best weapons and neutralizes the amount of power punches they land on him.

When did a fighter who lands 8 jabs per round considered a jabber?

If he is one, it is simply by default!!!!!!

Do you really know a jabber? If you throw 16 jabs a round and lands 8, you suddenly become a jabber?

    STFU!!!!

Floyd isn't a remarkable jabber but he definitely knows a thing or two more about jabbing than Pacquiao does

Here's the list of the top 10 Boxers who averaged the most jabs landed per rounds. So yes, landing 8 jabs per round is great when you consider that the top guy only averaged 3 more jabs landed per rounds than Floyd.

This would have to be Manny's advantage if he could land his power punches as consistently and accurately as he landed on his last four opponents[Cotto, Clottey, Margarito, Mosley]. He has landed 1,096 power punches out of 2,308 power punches thrown in his last four fights. He averaged 23.0 power punches landed per rounds out of 48.1 power punches thrown per rounds. But you have to take into consideration that none of those guys had the ability of limited Manny's best weapons like JMM has.

different opponents, different strategies. i think pac will do a lot of feinting in this fight to bait floyd.

And Pac probably lands 4-5 per round. Pac landed 47 jabs in 12 rounds against Molsey for 4 jabs per round.

4 and 8 seems not much different, considering that Gayweather has 41 per cent connect rate, whixh basically is about 18 jabs per round.

Jabs does not need to land. It is a rhythm disrupting punch and jabber does not necesarily purposely land it. Mayweaher use it as a primary weapon to score point. Big differnce.

18 jabs in 180 seconds fight is like 1 jab every 10 seconds. To better put it in perspective. If you consider that a jabber, then so be it.

In contrast, Pac threw 374 jabs against Mosley in 12 rounds. He was not using his jab as a main weapon but it is there to disrupt, confuse an opponent for his vread and butter - power punch. I don't think Roach was worried that it only connected 47 times. Afterall , pac connected with
